Positive: Absolutely spotless! Small, though very comfortable. Breakfast good. Location good. Magic beach within 100 metres.

Negative: Very dark walls combined with a non-opening window is not very inviting. The window doesn't open, so there was no cross ventilation. Breakfast at the outdoor table and chairs was spoiled by the noise of the exhaust fan in the adjacent apartment each morning.

Summary: Pretty good, though please address the fixed window and noisy exhaust fan.

Positive: It was very cosy and central to the beach and Surf Club. Loved the bed and the colours of the room. Very modern looking inside.

Negative: Wish the window could be opened … I love fresh air even on the coldest of nights. Couldn’t fault anything else.

Positive: This place is a real gem, very stylish, non pretentious, clean and comfortable. The location is great and you even get a water view! What the owner has done here just goes to show you don't need to spend a fortune on a fitout, just use a bit of creativity and style along with carefully selected items and you can turn the ordinary into extraordinary. Honestly, I'd stay here over any of the places I've paid 3x the price for - the bespoke bed construction combined with quality mattress is the most comfortable I've ever come across! And the complementary beers and wine on arrival are the icing on the cake, well done.
