Positive: I liked the fact there was plenty of room for both the car and camper and there was plenty of room in the house. Also the location was close to the beach and close enough to Perth Central.
Negative: Because we had some wet days it would have been nice to have a dryer to dry the clothes and a casserole dish in the kitchen for cooking.
Summary: We used the house as a place to stay but visited places like Rottnest Is., Fremantle and Perth

Negative: We had a wonderful stay – the apartment was clean, spacious, and very well-equipped. The only minor issue was the air-conditioning, which was a little dated. We happened to be there during an unusual heatwave in Perth, so the weather made it more noticeable. Otherwise, everything was perfect and we truly enjoyed our time.

Positive: The upstairs front room, kitchen and dining area is spacious and contains and air-conditioning unit (a necessity in WA in summer). Melissa the host was communicative, responsive, clear, and friendly in our message/text interactions. It has a good location for safety bay beach access (albeit I never used it...I took it because it was near family and was reasonably priced).
Negative: Bedrooms were hot which made sleep difficult (usual thing with Aus rentals...when A/C is mentioned there's usually only one unit in an entire house or appt...which is a bit limited and a little misleading...and I should be hip to this by now). Property showing its age and a little rough here and there, e,g, bathrooms...and one had a leaking toilet (from the fresh water cistern flush). No wifi (but to be fair that's my miss on the rental info page).
Summary: Comfortable common areas, uncomfortable bdrms, little tired in places, reasonable price, nice host
