From our balcony, you can watch the cruise ships arrive in the morning and depart at night. You are within walking distance of the revitalized historical Plaza Machado containing many recently refurbished restaurants from the high end to just great everyday eateries. See local entertainment in the gazebo or attend a show at the gorgeous historic Angela Peralta Theater. All are within easy walking distance along the Malecon beach walk/drive and through the ancient streets of old Mazatlan. You can walk to the shrimp market or the flower market and get a flavor of real Mexican life in Mazatlan. Did you know that Mazatlan is considered the shrimp capital of the world?
This recently built condo building, with 24/7 security, houses the newest condos located in the Historico Centro area. Live in air-conditioned comfort and luxury, yet be near the historic district. Have your coffee or evening cocktails on your 7th floor spacious balcony and watch the activity of street vendors and cliff divers below. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There are 2 large bedrooms, each with new king beds for restful nights, 2 full bathrooms plus a separate sitting room/office. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the gadgets for those who love to cook, but don't have the time at home. There is also a full-sized en-suite clothes washer and dryer. There are 1500 spacious square feet PLUS another 300 SF of living space on the balcony.
If you have to conduct business back home, connect to the provided internet in the condo, skype in or out or place your free call to the US or Canada on the provided MajicJack phone. Or just relax while watching satellite TV (Canadian Shaw). You can use the Mexican landline phone to make local dinner reservations.
On the 2nd floor of the building, there is a great infinity pool and deck area where guests and residents can lounge or have BBQ gatherings (and the staff cleans the grill!). Many residents in the building are from the US or Canada and most of the staff are English speaking.
You will marvel at the unsurpassed sunsets over the ocean every night, no two are ever the same. You will never get tired of the unrestricted 180 degree views of the ocean and north up the Malecon (2-lane road along the beach), over to the Golden Zone and beyond to the "new Mazatlan".
You don't need a car, but if you have one, you will have a designated underground parking spot in the secure garage. There are many open air pulmonias (or taxis) across from the cliff divers to take you to other Mazatlan locations. The views of the ocean are from the kitchen all the way through the dining room, living room and balcony. There are 2 elevators to 7th floor (one from the garage and one from the pool area), an infinity pool and exercise equipment on the 2nd floor and 24-hour security.
There are no neighbors to bother you, since the condo is on the corner of the building and there is a granite wall directly to the south of the condo and balcony that provides privacy.
If you want nightlife and loud music, go to the Golden Zone. If you want a relaxing, peaceful stay, come to our condo in the Vue Centro Historico.

Summary: We loved the condo - the view of the ocean was terrific - the property manager Jesus was wonderful and very helpful. It was fun to be in the middle of all of the local's activities in Old Town (the only place to stay in Mazatlán). We loved every minute of it. We walked for miles along the malecon every day. With that said, be aware that the activities across the street at the plaza on the ocean can be somewhat noisy - there was something going on there every evening. We enjoyed seeing and being amongst the locals and their families. The good news was that the tourist season was just over and there was only 1 cruise ship a week.

Summary: The condo has everything you need for a great stay. It is convenient, well maintained and safe. The view is unbelievable. It overlooks the Malecon with a 180 degrees view of the ocean. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance. The condo owners are wonderful to work with and provide all the information you need to enjoy your stay. Their property manager, Jesus, was there to greet us upon arrival and took the time to acquaint us with the condo and the area. He speaks English and knows Mazatlan like to the back of his hand. Highly recommend you use him to show you the town. We looked at many options for a condo before we decided on this one. It was an excellent choice and I would recommend it without reservations.

Summary: We just completed a lovely three-month stay in this Tres Amigos property, how time flies. Pat and Jesus were most helpful and promptly addressed any questions or concerns we had. While we were well familiar with the area, it was a treat to have such superb accommodations, two large bedrooms with comfortable king-size beds and a home-office setup over-looking the ocean - just try and get anything done with that view! The kitchen was well equipped with numerous small appliances and a large electric stove with oven. Granite counter tops all around with a large fridge for your cold beverages. Plenty of kitchen ware for the gourmet cook. The living area provided comfortable seating with arm chairs, sofas and of course a view of the ocean. Loved the décor – restful colors. The condo building was very clean with excellent security. We spent hours on the sun-drenched balcony either sipping a morning coffee or lingering over a lunch and a beverage or few just watching life on the ocean. The property is on the Malecon which offers hours of strolling along the water front. Lost count of the number of cliff-divers leaping off their high perch to the applause of the tourists. All the features of Old Town are within easy walking distance – the Mercado full of fresh produce, meats and dairy, too many eateries to count, the theaters and plaza. Love the people, friendly, helpful and tolerant of our muy mal Español! One caution though, if you are there during the Carnival celebrations – get some earplugs!

Summary: I would check the six star category for this lovely home right on the malecon. Stunning views, spotless, and beautifully decorated, the condo has everything to make it a perfect getaway. Pat is easy to work with and very prompt with any inquiry. Once there, Jesus is a dream - helpful in every way and clearly takes pride not only in keeping the condo running smoothly but in his home city - have him take you on a tour in his pulmonia. Walk safely anywhere and enjoy the local flavor, away from the tourist crowds of the gold zone in beautiful Centro Historico.

Summary: We were Very happy with our stay in January. Comfortable, fresh,clean, And beautiful ! Close to everything, Restaurants , Marcado, ...EVERYTHING ! Jesus (property mgr) speaks english and is available for anything you might need. He has his own Pulmania taxi , and can take you anywhere you like.. Very highly Recommend !

Summary: We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at the Vue Centro. Conveniently located within walking distance to the historic district museums, art galleries, resturants, and great shopping at the open air local market. We found ourselves visiting the market almost daily to buy fresh seafood, fruits, vegetables, and pastries. The paved walkway (malecon) along the coastline is directly across the street from the condo making it a very pleasant and easy walk to the nearby sandy beaches. We felt like we were truly in the heart of Mazatlan with the historic district to the left and an abundance of beaches to the right. The condo was very clean, comfortable, and well appointed with beautiful new furnishings. The king size bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. I hated to leave it behind. The spacious kitchen is as equipped as my own (maybe better) and had everything we could possibly need. We began and ended most days on the wonderful balcony taking in the view, ocean breezes and occasionally getting to watch cliff divers. Thank you Patricia for being so helpful before and during our stay. We really appreciated all your attention to details, excellent recommendations for restaurants and the great coffee shop too. We loved your condo and had a fantastic stay! Lisa & Jeff

Summary: I have been wintering in Mazatlan for 8 years now renting ocean front condos. This one in the Centro Historico has been my best experience yet. The view of the rocky shoreline and the cliff divers never gets old! The condo itself has comfortable furniture and all the convienences to stay in touch with your friends. Local Mexican land line, Magic Jack WiFi phone to call the United States for free. It's only a 10 minute walk down to Olas Atlas where you will find a many restaurants and if you need more selection you can walk to the Town Center which is only another 10 minutes away. You will be very happy you choose to stay in Centro Historico.
