Summary: This is a 5 star location right across from Malecon and an easy walk to historic district where there are restaurants and shops. Also a short walk to the beach. The apartment has a stunning view and is very well equipped.The kitchen had all the appliances and equipment. We were here for 2 months so did quite alot of cooking. The downside for us was the couch, which is important to my husband, was extreamly uncomfortable. It slopes down like an ejection seat. The apartment gets no Sun so was not what we dreamed about as a place to sit and do meals out on the beautiful balcony.Part of this was due to cool temperatures in January through March this winter. The pool does not get sun until late afternoon making it not so inviting. There are lots if towels which we were thankful for but they could all use replacing as they were mostly well worn. We loved our winter dispute those negatives.

Summary: Our contact Javier was wonderful to deal with. The unit was very nice, the view incredible and the location near the historical center was perfect. Everything we needed and the experiences all were within walking distance. Carnival was amazing.

Summary: Great location for summer surfing since it is in between Los Pinos and Olas Altas breaks. You can see Los Pinos from our suite. The suite is a perfect size for 2 people and had everything we needed. Everyone we dealt with, from the owner, manager and security guards, were very friendly and helpful. The apartment is just short walk to many great restaurants, cafes, street food, and markets. You could Uber to a larger supermarket but with so many great places to eat in the area we hardly ate in. (Although, the deli at the Soriana near the Home Depot has good fresh salsa and guacamole). The building itself was quiet and secure. However, if you go to bed early like us and are here during a festival or the holidays you may want to bring some earplugs. (The pulmonias (open air taxis) drive up and down the malecon playing music quite loudly during the holidays). The view and location make up for it. I tried to read a book here but just kept looking out at the view!

Summary: We stayed in this condo for 10 days during Carnival. The owner did warn us that Carnival was happening during our stay and we were fine with that, since we had never been. We had stayed in the same building (different condo) a year previous and knew we liked this location. Javier, the property manager, got us settled. He had corresponded with us prior to our arrival and had a few essentials (paper towels, laundry soap, dish soap, etc) for us when we got to the condo. The condo itself was very clean and well equipped. Size wise was perfect for the 2 of us. We usually made our own breakfast but went out for most meals. Plaza Machado is a nice walk from the condo and we felt totally safe anytime of the day or night. The balcony was a nice place to sit and watch the street below especially with all the goings-on during Carnival. We would highly recommend this condo for 1 or 2 people if you are looking to stay in the Centro area.

Summary: We really enjoyed our 3 week stay in the this roomy one bedroom with a spectacular view of the golden zone, the ocean and the 3 islands. People in the building are friendly and we always felt secure. Do be prepared for some noise from the street below (especially weekend evenings). The apartments themselves are quite sound proof and we heard no noise from within the building. Fortunately it was cool so we did not need to leave windows open. Most times it did not prevent us from sleeping as the bed is very good. Shower was wonderful and hot water plentiful. Filtered water is available for drinking. Considering the price, however, the towels, sheets and other amenities are rather"tired". i.e. should be replaced. There is only one bar / counter stool, so evenings when it was too cool to eat outside one of us had to sit on the couch. Shouldn't be a big deal to get another stool. We also added a frying pan since those available were too worn. As someone else mentioned, it would have been nice to have a hair dryer. We were greeted by Jennifer's rep., Javier. who brought "starter supplies" (laundry detergent, hand soap, dish soap, etc.) He was very responsive to our needs (had a couple repair issues which were fixed by the next day - and on a weekend). We mostly used email to contact him, but also had his phone number. The pool is heated and nice. Just big enough for laps There are no gym facilities on site, if that's important. We will definitely return to Vue Centro Historico.

Summary: I would recommend this space without hesitation. It is well-located, with spectacular views of the water. You can walk across the street and stroll the Malecon. Downtown is within walking distance. And, if you are not a walker, transportation is readily available. We plan to go back.
