Positive: We checked in here but got moved up the road and thank god we did! The place we got moved to was lovely! Had an amazing cafe / restaurant with it and saw elephants across the river in the morning! The owner said it was fairly new and he hadn’t had it for long!

Negative: This place (the one we booked) didn’t look very clean but that was just reception

Positive: 1st one from the pier. Can order sandwiches for the next day (not the only ones to do this and don’t have to be a guest)

Negative: Unfortunately when something is so run down (like stains on the wall) it’s hard to tell if it’s clean or not. Very loud noise from outside. Stairs up are very steep. Wifi was not great.

Positive: Perfect location for the night, can walk there in a few minutes from the boat pier. Friendly and helpful staff. We pre-ordered breakfast and lunch for the next day which was super helpful.

Negative: Forgot the banana in the sandwich! Boyfriend was very sad :(

Positive: super close to the pier when you come in from the slow boat, we found this good for the next morning to get there a bit early. we had a room with a double and single bed for the two of us which meant we had a bit of space and the rooms were nice enough for one night. could get breakfast there in the morning and a sandwich for the boat.

Negative: a little bit run down looking but perfectly fine for the night. our sink did leak underneath and splash our legs which wasn't the nicest and the shower was cold. we also got overcharged for our sandwiches in the morning when we went back to pay when we noticed they hadn't charged us for them which felt a bit cheeky.
