Positive: Very comfortable bed with fresh, clean bedding • Central location only 5 minutes walk up from the slow boat ferry port • Good airconditioning • Water and soaps provided • We were collected by truck from the slow boat ferry port and helped with our bags to the accommodation
Negative: Wifi was poor in the room, could only use from the communal balcony • Bathroom stayed quite wet after showering • No fridge in the room

Positive: It was adequate for an overnight stay and value for the cost. Room met my expectations for £16z Location close to Slow boat docking platform. Clean room, toilet paper, towels and soap supplied. Hot water in shower.
Negative: It would have been helpful to have communicated in advance of our arrival, that there is transport to collect you from the riverside. We received a standard message confirming our booking. But We were unaware a van was waiting and ended up walking with our luggage, to the guest house, which wasn’t far, but up a fairly steep hill.

Positive: Family run and the daughter was fantastic. She actually wrote out my very long surname and tried to meet me at the boat landing to help us get up the hill. I very much appreciated the gesture. It was a bit crazy at the boat landing so I'm not surprised I missed her. Guesthouse is a short walk up the hill next to a decent restaurant. She even got up early to make sure we got coffee before we left. The town caters to the slow boat tourists and many places make sandwiches and baked goods for pre boarding.. one place does their own baking and the banana bread was excellent Really enjoyed the stop in the town.
