Positive: The resort is beautiful. The Dimora has two swimming pools, and the surrounding greenery is amazing.
Negative: Breakfast is very basic, and the pastries, croissants, and pancakes feel industrial, not freshly made. The restaurant feels like a tourist trap, and the food is below the typical Italian standard. The waiters are seasonal and inexperienced.
Summary: Pretty, but the food isn’t that great.

Positive: We stayed in the large 5 bedroom villa and it was gorgeous! Each room had its own bathroom and AC, the pool was beautiful and large kitchen and outdoor areas were amazing for group dinners. A moderate 10 minute walk to the main hotel and farm/winery/kids pool so we felt private but still able to explore easily. We loved access to all the amenities and events of the hotel but still having our own villa to return to. Comfortably accomodated 9 people and could easily suit groups of 10-12. Very clean comfy rooms and beds and dark rooms making it easy to get a great night sleep!
Negative: A few improvements could go a long way! 1.) The kitchen needs to be better equipped with more pots pans knives baking /oven pans, wine glasses, steak knives, etc. With a place as large as that villa with such beautiful spaces to eat on the terrace, they need to prepare the kitchen for at least 10 people and include all usual cooking utensils. 2.) Also, it could have used more necessaries like dish soap, dishwasher pods, kitchen towels, paper towels, pool towels as well. 3.) Better wifi -The wifi is not great but it is workable and we were able to do what we needed. 4.) Housekeeping: there is NO housekeeping service and for the rate being charged housekeeping should be included at least every 3-4 days. 5.) Consistent golf cart service: it is moderate walk to and from the hotel so someone with difficulty or children would benefit from easy access to a quick ride to and from.
Summary: Exceptional Stay in Tuscany - a few easy improvements would make it a 10!

Positive: Location! The rolling Tuscany hills were beautiful. There was a unique feeling of aged charm while also like a resort. The view from our window was breathtaking.
Negative: Because of the location in the valley - noise travels. So we did hear dogs barking and there was a party at winery that enjoyed their night. But they did finish by 11pm and this would not be a regular occurrence.
Summary: Location was everything. We felt like we were in Tuscany!
