Palm Gardens is located just minutes away from the popular Sharky's restaurant, downtown Venice and several fabulous *free* beaches. The backyard is fully fenced which is great for those with kids or pets who can play while you sit in the screened lanai sipping your coffee or tea.
A single story home, Palm Gardens has tile floors throughout. It features 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and screened in lanai with a hot tub. Many amenities are provided to make your vacation relaxing, including beach chairs, pool noodles, beach umbrella, beach towels, beach toys, shark's tooth strainer and two beach cruiser bicycles.
Visit beautiful Venice Island. Shop, eat and enjoy the sunny Florida scenery. Venice, Florida is known as the "Shark's Tooth Capital of the World" and your vacation paradise is only minutes from Caspersen Beach where you can scoop shark's teeth right out of the shallows. Don't worry, these teeth aren't new, they're prehistoric.
The master bedroom boasts a King size bed, an en suite bathroom, and a walk in closet. Sliders lead out to the screened in lanai with hot tub. The master bathroom has a full tub and vanity sink. Feel extra pampered with the spa robes and slippers provided for you during your stay.
The guest bedroom features a queen size bed and closet for all of those new 'Shark's Tooth Capital' t-shirts. The second bathroom features a walk in shower.
The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, gadgets and updated appliances - including a dishwasher. We also stock salt, pepper, sugar and other basics that you don't have to buy at the store. We provide paper towels, toilet paper, laundry soap, dishwasher soap and some sample sizes of shampoo, etc so the only thing you need to shop for is perishable food that you'd like to cook at home.
The living room features a queen fold out sofa bed. Sit back and relax between all of that hard work of laying on the beach and features a wall mounted TV, tons of HD channels, and wireless Internet access (WiFi).
Sliding doors lead out from the dining area to the screened in lanai. The lanai features a hot tub and a patio table that seats four for those morning cups of coffee and planning of daily events. Have a bite outside after tossing some steaks on the grill and enjoying the Florida sunshine your kids or pets play in the fenced yard.
Several games are provided for those in between moments from beach time.
The garage has a direct entry into the house. There is also a washer and dryer for drying those wet bathing suits, washing those towels you were sitting on at the beach or getting your clothes cleaned of one adventure and ready for the next.
Palm Gardens has central air and heating.

No keys to pickup, return or lose and no cleaning people or contractors will have a key or code to the house during your stay. As the property owners, we respect your privacy and value your security.
Venice is a very beautiful and laid back city and you're sure to meet other friendly people biking the Legacy Trail and walking as you take a stroll or walk your dog. The local area has several dog parks and Brohard Paw Park Dog Beach where your pooch can run free.

Summary: Property as advertised. Appreciate the rental allowing pet, our dog(Simba)enjoyed the topical backyard, watching the squirrels , and birds. Provided owner couple observations on areas to be checked by the cleaning crew. Over all the house is a good location, pet friendly, and fully functioning, does needs some addtional maintenance/updating especially on the outside.

Summary: This property worked out great for the two of us with our dog. The neighborhood is friendly. The fenced yard was great for the dog, but could have used a night light. This is an older house with some updated features, like the kitchen. The two bathrooms were adequate and clean, but could use some updating. The rear screened in patio was a nice feature, but could have used a more thorough cleaning. The garage was a nice feature and also the included laundry facilities. All and all, we enjoyed being here!
