Cet appartement très confortable, pour trois personnes, situé à l’angle de la célèbre rue Montorgueil entre la Place des Victoires et le Forum des Halles (5’ à pied) vous séjournerez dans un loft entièrement refait dans un immeuble calme avec ascenseur, situé à proximité des métros « Les Halles, Etienne Marcel, Sentier… », Appartement Cocoon avec parquet et poutres d'époque en plein cœur de Paris avec une décoration moderne, très lumineux pour un séjour parisien réussi !

Summary: Pros: location 10/10. Clean, secure building-although the main door is often left open, access to the lobby is always locked. Cons: cluttered: appliances(2 toasters, ancient griddle, multiple coffee making apparatus)decor/baskets!? Most critically- Must straddle 2- 3ft tall ceiling beams in loft to access shower and toilet. At 5’5” just able to stand upright in peak of loft. A step to the left and I’d hit my head. Steep, narrow, dark stairwell to loft. Never again.

Summary: My spouse and I loved the location of this apartment, which was ideal for accessing central Paris (and when I say that, I mean the Louvre, the legendary Stohrer patisserie, Nôtre Dame —though still under repair)! The check-in couldn’t have been easier, with the gracious Samuel coming to the building in about 5 minutes and showing us how everything worked. The apartment was largely as described, so we expected the loft and stairs. We were unprepared to find the loft divided up by beams, however. They were clearly structural, as this 6th floor apartment was under the roof, but it would have been helpful to know this in advance. We had to step over 2 such beams of about 2 feet tall every time we wished to access the shower. Our stay was nearly 2 weeks, so it became a little wearying. On the brighter side, the A/C was an absolute blessing, and is not always so easy to find in rentals, so we were very happy with that. All in all, a great stay.

Summary: The location is just perfect. Easy access to RER/metro lines, restaurants and market. The property itself is very spacious. The loft maybe a bit challenge for taller people. The property management team is also wonderful. This is my second stay at this flat. It will remain my first choice when I come to Paris.
