Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Park House. We were in town for the Celtman Race for the week; the place was quiet and relaxing for prerace jitters. Scenery was beautiful and there was a castle ruin less than a mile from property; everyone enjoyed walking and touring it. It was unseasonably hot when we visited; and a couple of fans at night remedied that. If I ever get the opportunity to come back and visit the Highlands we will definitely try and secure a stay here. Thanks Patricia for working with us on our dates.

Summary: The property is lovely, sitting along a lane approx 3 miles from Lochcarron village, sharing the plot with another cottage. Great location for walking, wild swimming and visiting cultural sites of interest, and great cafes and restaurants close by!

Summary: Perfect location for exploring the area. Lovely house. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need for making family meals. Excellent drying facilities. Unfortunately, the TV didn't work at all, all week so check with the owner if having TV is important to you. The mattresses on the two single beds in the twin room need replacing. You could feel every spring.

Summary: The house was just what we wanted and the host was responsive and answered any questions we had. There is room for at least 2 cars and the drying facilities are second to none - fortunately we did not need it. There is mobile reception available. Fantastic week away.

Summary: Lovely cottage in a very secluded area of Loch Carron. Cottage had everything needed for an enjoyable stay in the Highlands. Wifi was pretty non existent but maybe that helped us switch off!

Summary: Only one complaint regarding a frying pan which was not cleaned properly so could not be used until we visited the shops to get a scouring pad and J cloths, it would have helped if we had had something to clean it with. The shops are three miles away. It was obviously not washed up properly by the previous visitors nothing to do with the owner. Other than that everything else was fine

Summary: Really nice place to get away from it all. We knew that there was no wifi and the phone signal was not great - maybe next time I will makes sure the place we rent has wifi as maybe im not ready to be that remote again (with the kids moaning). The house is as per the pictures and was very clean. There are a few things that could have been better. The Kettle was broken, it would have been nice to have a BBQ and table and chairs out side (there is a bench of 2 people) so that you can look out at the amazing views. Also we had asked for a place to put the bikes... but there was not one (so they had to be in the living room all week). Having said all of this, i would still recommend it to any one. Book it now as you will have an amazing time

Summary: We have just spent two weeks at Patricia and Ed's property and it was everything we dreamed of and more! The property is spacious , very clean, warm and snug with everything you could need! Patricia and Ed were lovely and very helpful. The property is in one of the most beautiful parts of Scotland, very remote with a great spar shop, garage and bistro in the nearby village (3 miles) . We had the best holiday ever with lots of photo opportunities for scenery and wildlife! We enjoyed it so much that we have booked to return later in the year.

Summary: This is a nice cottage with beautiful views. It is very peaceful. If I was to make suggestions, then I would have appreciated a dishcloth and pot scourer and perhaps a few dishwasher tablets. It would be helpful if cottage info was obvious on the table upon arrival - we found it a couple days after arrival. Biomass boiler worked well. The local Spar shop in Lochcarron is very well stocked.
