6 Bedroom House in South Haven

'Sunset Center' is an adjacent pair of family vacation houses. The 'Sun House' is a 6 bedroom, 4 bathroom vacation home featuring a private gated 15x30 heated swimming pool, 6 person hot tub, playscape, and wooded ravine lot with fire pit. The property is an easy 4 block walk down the sidewalk to South Beach, Kid's Corner, and downtown shopping and dining.
All comforts of home are provided, including washer and dryer, linens, all major kitchen appliances (including refrigerator with ice and water dispenser, range, dishwasher, and microwave), kitchen utensils, free wireless Internet, 8 cable TVs (Four X1 Voice Enabled boxes with apps such as Netflix, Youtube, and access to the HDR, and 4 basic cable boxes for the remainder), many DVD/VCR players, CD players, just to name a few.
The house is perfect for families with children of all ages. The pool and hot tub are gated for your protection. Both the front and back yards are fenced.
Family-friendly items included are books for all ages, toys, puzzles, movies for all ages, well-loved bikes, riding toys, high chair, full size crib with rocking chair, baby gate, exersaucer, strollers, sippee cups, baby monitor, booster seats, kid-sized picnic table, and pool toys.
Enjoy the flexibility and convenience of having 6 private bedrooms, conveniently located throughout the house! 4 bedrooms are upstairs. One is a large master suite with private bathroom. Another full bathroom is in the upstairs hall. 2 bedrooms are downstairs, each adjacent to separate full bathrooms. The house has an open design, with the living room, dining area and kitchen all open to each other in a 'great' room. The sunroom overlooks the backyard pool and wooded ravine yard. The sunroom can be accessed from either the hallway or through the kitchen.
There is another bonus room downstairs that is referred to as the 'futon room' or the 'play' room since it can be closed off as a 7th bedroom with a futon or utilized as a another common living room with a TV/VCR/DVD with a video library and bookshelves loaded with books, games, and toys.
The pool will be open and heated from mid May until approximately October 1. The hot tub is open and heated year-round. Enjoy the rare warm water in South Haven in June and September!
Need even more space? My property actually has 2 houses next door to each other. My Ice House is another 6 bedroom house right next door.
NOTE: Outdoor security cameras are in use at the front door and driveway only.

Summary: There was three families that totaled ten people. The space worked great for us. The house was clean and ready when we showed up. Communication with the host was easy. The house is in a great location. It was easy to get to the lake, parks and downtown. The pool and hot tub felt amazing. There is a little playground between the houses that the younger kids enjoyed. Would definitely come back here.

Summary: Our stay was incredible. This is an awesome location, so close to the beach and downtown area. The house was well equipped and clean. The pool, hot tub and fire pit were awesome to use. We had an amazing trip and this house was perfect for our needs.

Summary: Comfortable house with loads of room. The property is an easy walk to town and the beach. The house has multiple private spaces which was nice as several of us had to work on line. Outdoor spaces were peaceful and beautifully landscaped. Only adults came on this last trip however in the past we have vacationed with a wide age range of babies and children. The house accommodates them with toys and a safe barrier from the hot tub and pool. This is an outstanding property for a family holiday.

Summary: Everyone wants to come back! The accommodations were comfortable and clean with so much available for summertime fun. The location is close to both the beach, which is pristine, and the town, which is hoppin', giving our children and their families much to enjoy with little travel. Jim was so kind and generous, making sure we had everything we needed. He went above and beyond to make our stay in his beautiful home a vacation to remember. Thank you, Jim!

Summary: This will be a great news/not so great type of review. First the great. The house was great. Upon our arrival it was clean and accommodated my family perfectly. There was plenty of room for our three daughters and nine grandchildren ranging from 11 years old to four months. The bedrooms were setup nicely and the four bathrooms came in handy with such a large group. Supplies were adequate and greatly appreciated. Much time was spent enjoying the front porch and sunroom. No complaints about any of this part of the property. My main issues were with the outside part of the property which was a huge factor in our decision to rent this property. Upon our arrival I found the pool and deck areas less than satisfactory. There were bird droppings on the sides of the pool and on the deck area. The entire area was littered with leaves and tree debris. I had guests arriving in three hours and knew the first thing my grandkids would want to do is hit the pool. I was able to make a quick trip to the nearby Ace Hardware and purchased a blast nozzle and spent about two hours remedying this problem that I feel should never have been an issue to begin with. After this was taken care of we had a great week of swimming and family fun at this house. The location is great and I believe the host to be an honest and honorable man. Because of the issues described above I can't give more than an 8 out of 10 review. Our experience was great other than these issues

Summary: We had an absolute amazing time at this location for vacation! We came right before Memorial Day weekend and it was awesome! We had 5 kids and the pool was so much fun for them! There were so many kid items there as well as toys for them, which was helpful! We did rent the golf cart as well and had so much going for little golf cart rides, heading down to the marina, or going the few blocks to the sand/lake! The location of this house makes it easy to walk wherever you want to go or take a quick ride. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions as well. We definitely would recommend this spot to anyone looking to take a trip!
