Positive: Convenient location, well appointed kitchen. Staff very responsive when messaged with questions.
Negative: The air conditioning is a single split unit in one bedroom. The rest of the house is not air conditioned, and was like an oven. The “beach” is not a beach. The steps from the yard to the water end very abruptly on rocks, there is no beach. The pictures and descriptions on these two items are misleading.
Summary: Loved the area, would not rent this house again.

Positive: The location was ideal. Beautiful view of the lake, nice quiet street and property. It was close to shopping locations and local dining. Overall very comfortable, very nice to come back to after a long day of site seeing.
Negative: The only small issue was some of the linens in the bedroom, had to change the sheets for a couple of the beds. Found some hair, some strands, but decided to change, just in case. But went to use the sofa bed and found some mouse droppings. Only downfall with that, was the washing machine was out of commission the week we were there. But that did not ruin our vacation.
Summary: The family had a great time. Visit Ausable Chase, ferry to Vermont. Will rent again.

Positive: location was beautiful
Negative: there was supposed to be the convenience of washer and dryer on site, washer would not spin, had to take clothes to laudramat. Washer could not be fixed till after we left from out vacation their. Suggestion would be to make sure the machines are in good working order before renting
Summary: it was good with exception of rainy weather and no washing machine.
