A private attached farmhouse apartment that is close (1.5miles) to downtown Newburyport, Plum Island beaches (3miles) and 10mins from the highway- rt 95
2 bedrooms and 1 bath. Kitchen with eat in table, separate room with high top table perfect for laptop work, and a vaulted ceiling living room. Private washer and dryer. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other room has two extra long twin beds.
The apartment has two entrances separate from the main house and is oriented away from the living space of our home. This makes for a private setting for guests.
There is a small outdoor space with a grill and chairs. There is parking for two cars.

Summary: Ray and Elizabeth were amazing hosts who went out of their way to make sure their home was immaculate, cool, and comfortable. We had plenty of space to play board games, read, relax, and watch our favorite shows. Their home is a 5 minute drive to Plum Island. It is also situated in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. Wonderful place!

Summary: The house was roomy, clean and quiet. Ray & Elizabeth were very accommodating in providing anything I needed. It was very hot (August) but the air conditioners worked well. The house is about 1 mile to Newburyport center, and very near Plum Island so the location is perfect for enjoying the New England summer. The Newburyport train terminal is 1.5 miles away for carefree travel to Salem or Boston. Very nice stay!

Summary: This cozy apartment suited us well over Thanksgiving weekend while visiting our daughter and her family who live in nearby Georgetown. Our daughter's home was not big enough to sleep all of the guests, so four us with our infant granddaughter stayed at the apartment. The apartment isn't fancy, but it was clean, the beds were comfortable, and it had what we needed in the kitchen to help with some of the preparations for the Thanksgiving feast. We didn't spend a lot of time in the apartment since we gathered at our daughter's home, but we did enjoy a beautiful November day at Plum Island and walking around the city of Newburyport. Both were only a very short drive from the apartment. Elizabeth and Ray greeted our party upon arrival and had a pack and play set up for the baby. If we had questions or problems, Elizabeth always responded promptly to our texts. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated being able to find an affordable rental near our daughter's home.
