Positive: Beautiful location, waking up to the sound of the ocean. Staff are friendly and made the stay amazing. Most comfortable bed I’ve slept in while on holiday in Bali. The grounds are well maintained. The buffet breakfast was very nice with alot of choices.

Positive: A beautiful place to stay. The staff were so attentive and helpful. A perfect place for rest and relaxation. We had a beachfront bungalow. It’s was so nice to sit on the verandah and enjoy the spectacular views The buffet breakfast was good value and the meals were great as well. Cannot fault this place and will definitely stay again

Positive: The location is absolutely stunning—like a dream. I stayed here last year as well, which is exactly why I chose to return. However, this year the experience was different due to ongoing construction. There were works happening both near the pool area (which I understand was not directly managed by the hotel) and inside the hotel, where some rooms were being renovated. The noise inside was quite intense—although I did receive a notice and apologies from the management one day before, it was very difficult to stay in the room because of the constant disturbance. Considering that I made the reservation back in September and only traveled in April, I believe it would have been fair to be informed in advance about these renovations, so I could decide whether to keep the booking or not. Another change compared to last year was breakfast—it is no longer served at the oceanfront restaurant, but instead in the garden. Other than that, everything was wonderful: the beds are extremely large and comfortable, and the staff is kind and welcoming.

Negative: Significant noise due to construction, late notice about renovations, and changes to breakfast location.

Negative: The restaurant is not great and very expensive. Around 4 times the price of other restaurants.

Positive: As per above the facilities, staff etc were excellent. Hope to come back again.

Negative: I didn't like the fact that I was awoken early every morning by the 20 ton excavator working outside our door constructing a sea wall. When I booked the ocean facing cottage I envisioned us waking to the calming sounds of the ocean lapping against the shore. I wasn't expecting to be awakened at 3.40am by a machine scraping, lifting and dropping boulders into the sea. I believe we should have been informed by booking.com of these impending works so we were given an opportunity to not book until such time as these works were finished.
