3 Bedroom House in Gosport

Rampart View is a 3 bedroomed townhouse overlooking the moat and 16th century ramparts of Gosport. Two of the three bedrooms each house a 4ft 6″ double bed and the main bedroom accommodates a 5ft king size ‘zip and link' double bed that can split to create 2 single beds, plus we can offer 2 fold out style camp beds, possibly sleeping up to 8 guests in total.
The ground floor welcomes you into the entrance hall with an integral garage off, complete with charging point for an electric car.
There is an en-suite shower room off of the ground floor bedroom and a high spec newly fitted shower room located on the second floor.
The kitchen is situated on the first floor looking out over the water towards the original ramparts around the old town, fully equipped for self catering with all the essential mod cons.
The 1st floor is the main living area which is largely open plan, with a balcony looking down onto the courtyard garden.
Through the ground floor bedroom you will find French doors which lead out to a small courtyard with BBQ and the facility to hire in a Hot Tub, if desired (Conditions apply-please contact us for further details).
All bedding and towelling is provided for the number of guests booked to stay, with a mid term maid cleaning service available on request. Additional linen is available at £25 per set to include 1 medium bath towel.
A child cot and highchair are available at no extra cost. (If cots are provided guests are asked to please bring their own child's bedding).
​In addition to the rental cost we ask our guests for a security deposit, pre-authorised against your credit card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterwards if there is no damage.
Our advertised prices are calculated on the number of people requested and may go up or down if amended.
Some of our properties have age restrictions, such as where we feel it would not be suitable for younger all adult groups, such as within quiet residential areas where noise may be an issue.

Summary: Comfortable. Well equipped. Interesting views. Handy for touring the area. Great restaurant, The Creek very nearby. Bit of a noisy road at night. Lots of stairs. But would stay again

Summary: This property is in the best location for the area. Once we arrived we didn't need to drive as it's easy to walk around Gosport, hop on the ferry to Portsmouth which also gives you easy access to the Isle of Wight so loads to do on your doorstep. This property doesn't allow self check in which is a shame as it's alot less stressful if you can arrive when you want without having to arrange to meet someone or worry about any fines from being late. However, Ken was really nice, organised and informative. Comfy sofa, smart tv, great views including a window seat area which i loved, garden and balcony although neither sheltered from bad weather, as much as you could need utensil wise to use in the kitchen. A great amount of storage in the main bathroom and bedroom. The en suite bedroom is a small bed so can only really comfortably fit 1 adult in and doesn't have much storage in the room either so 2 couples cannot comfortably have a floor each which is a shame. 1 bedroom upstairs with the best view doesn't have a mirror and to make the most of any bedroom storage remember to pack coat hangers. 2 parking spaces but 1 space is more suitable for a small car. Quiet friendly neighbourhood but keep the noise down to avoid any fines. Recommendations - Great Wall Chinese Restaurant Gosport, Artys Gosport, Solent Springs mini Golf Gosport, Round Tower Portsmouth, a year ticket if you will visit more than 1 museum to save money and allow you more than 1 day to see all. I recommend this place if you want to visit Portsmouth or Gosport.
