Summary: We loved staying at the Holt House. It's a truly beautiful building. It's like staying in a hotel from another era. The room was beautifully decorated with victorian decor and we loved it. It was also handy to have access to a full kitchen on the first floor where we washed some of our dishes. Overall, it was a cozy and quiet place to stay.

Summary: I first booked this Vrbo because it looked like it was across the street from the Westin Hotel, where my convention was being held. The listing on the map needs to be corrected closer to the actual location, which is near Walgreens. More than a ten minute walk to the Westin. As I was by myself, I felt safer taking a ride share at night to my Vrbo. The building of the Vrbo is very beautiful and historic. I stayed in room 14, which was as described, but the mattress does need replaced as it sags in the middle.

Summary: Lovely room. Unable to reach the property manager, owner. Tried the website, the app and the 24/7 number. Would have been nice to have two sets of keys for two people. Very difficult to understand all of the parking restrictions.

Summary: Such a beautifully decorated, clean, quiet room! I'm so glad we found this listing for our stay in Portland. It's close to many great food places and easy to get to and from other fun tourist activities. Thankfully parking was not an issue, either. We'll look out for this place if we find our way back to Portland!

Summary: The high ceilings and woodwork were so impressive! The screw-up about check-in, which took two nervous hours, turned out to be MY FAULT in booking the wrong dates and still the manager was able to find me lodging in a similar venue for the same price for the one night in question. That takes a lot of extra effort and deserves commendation. The on-site manager was very nice and offered to help with whatever we needed. Parking was not as hard as I had feared. Yes, kitchen had limited pots and pans in the drawers, but were available upon request.

Summary: The Holt house was definitely very unique. We were in the room which was the library. The main issue we had was parking & hot water faucet at sink did not work. The inn keeper, Teresa was very kind and helpful.
