Positive: An amazing place. Best view we've had in Sri Lanka, period! Also a lovely host that recommended many hikes and sights nearby. Worth hiking to the top of the hill on the property at sunrise. It's magical.

Negative: There are some leeches on the tea plantation so wear repellent or leech socks. But that's not the property's fault. They are everywhere in the mountains in wet areas.

Positive: Beautiful views from roof terrace, helpful host and plentiful local home cooked food, lovely kittens!

Negative: We upgraded to room with panoramic views which were beautiful BUT there is a big gap between top of window and roof which allows many insects to come into room and no mosquito net or fan so not a pleasant room to sleep in!

Positive: One of the best stays we have had - Rohana is a wonderful host. So friendly, helpful, and goes out of his what to make your stay enjoyable. Amazing food for every meal, two kittens to play with, avocados picked off the tree, deer roaming free in the garden, a private 360 viewpoint just 10 min walk up the hill. Truly an amazing experience

Positive: We had a truly wonderful stay at Rohana’s place. The accommodation is set in an exceptional and peaceful location, surrounded by breathtaking mountain views that make you feel completely immersed in nature. Waking up to the panorama of the hills was simply magical. The beds were very comfortable, and we slept incredibly well. From here, you can start beautiful hikes directly into the surrounding mountains, which makes it a perfect base for exploring the area. The owner’s property is full of fruit trees, plants, and even tea — it feels like walking through a small tropical garden. The atmosphere is calm, authentic, and very special. The staff makes a real effort to ensure guests feel welcome and cared for. You can sense their kindness and dedication. We felt very well looked after during our stay. Soap and towels can be provided upon request. And a special highlight: the adorable little kittens on the property — they completely stole our hearts. We truly felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of here. Highly recommended.

Positive: Rohana is a great host. He helped a lot with the arrival, the organization of a hike, and shares a lot of great stories. The location is beautifully located in the tea fields, and we did multiple awesome hikes and runs. The food is very convenient as you buy the full service (breakfast, lunch, dinner etc for 5000lkr), we loved the coconut filled pancakes.

Negative: The location is very remote, which hints towards a serene night. That wasn’t the case. It can be really noisy as there is no isolation. Both nights there was a party which went on late. Hence, don’t expect a silent night of sleep. The room itself was clean, however, the bathroom wasn’t cleaned.
