Summary: Having never been to Rome and coordinating a family/friend reunion with others coming from all over the world, this was a great place to stay and the pictures were accurate to the house (for the most part). A lot of natural light and windows, which was very pretty and nice to wake up to the birds in the morning or sit on the back patio to drink your coffee. One thing that caught us by surprise is that the attached apartment, while attached to the main villa, is an entirely different entrance and living area. If you are staying in a large group and want to all be together under one roof, I would not recommend renting the apartment. We also found the apartment to be very dark. Lastly, important to know that in the main villa there is only 1 private shower and then 1 shower that connects to 2 rooms (visible to both rooms- although there is a curtain that tries to give privacy). With such a large group, the 1 private shower was challenging especially morning and evening as we were getting ready for the day or getting ready for bed. The owner and the assistants are all very nice and accommodating and are willing to answer questions throughout the entire stay, offering recommendations and suggestions! Very cute neighbourhood area with walkable grocery and cafes, which were great! Taxis can be difficult to book and given that we were a group of 12, we found that a little more challenging than we had anticipated. Plan for about a 30 minute ride into central Rome.

Summary: The house was amazing and so close to everything - just a short bus ride to almost anything! We stayed June 23 -27 and enjoyed the home, neighborhood and all the great local cafe's and bars. We were a party of 10 and we really needed the downstairs apartment. Make sure you ask about it because I had to wire and extra $600 to the owner for use of the apartment and air conditioning-which was needed due to 90 degree temps. Also, was asked to pay and additional $160 for a "tax", that was never made clear. I did not pay it as it was not listed on VRBO website. There are other people staying on the property which I was unaware of, but it was not a problem until the elevator went down and all of a sudden two people were walking through the home to exit the villa! All and all a great stay!

Summary: June 18 through the 25th 2022! The house was beautiful and comfortable for most but misleading on how comfortable 14 people can be! The way the beds are counted were not explained that one was a very uncomfortable sofa bed in a room with no air conditioner with it being 97 degrees in Rome! So those two had to go to a hotel adding to the expense of our trip! The bathrooms, hallways are not air conditioned! You have to pay for air conditioning! The thing that makes no sense for me was in a well stocked kitchen their was no microwave! I know as an american I am a little spoiled but you could have a small microwave these days very cheap! Any food left over from a restaurant can not really be brought back to reheat! I guess you could have put it in oven but that would have added more heat to the house! So renting this house overall was pleasant but do not go by the numbers the owner says it will comfortable sleep!

Summary: The property experienced was what you see on the VRBO site. The family of six adults and five boys (ages 14-16) were comfortable in the villa and the downstairs apartment ( which has a separate entrance than the villa). The local market, a very short walk, provided everything we needed for each meal (when we ate in). Local restaurants, meat markets and bakery we used had great food and prices very reasonable. The welcoming information from the owner Danila and property manager Mirela met all expectations we needed for arrival, transportation methods and local restaurants. Our interactions with Mirela created many positive memories of the Villa and Rome. She was so gracious. Note: When we arrived we took the "urban" train. Quick and clean. However though the walk is short it is uphill. We decided to use cabs, for quicker transportation times, for all transportation. Taxis half the cost of an Uber. Prices extremely reasonable compared to USA and vehicle very clean.

Summary: I really enjoyed staying here for four nights while site seeing in Rome. There were eight of us (two families) and there was plenty of room inside and outside to relax. The home was full of interesting modern art, and really looks like the photos presented. The ceilings are really high, the staircase is marble, and the place is light and airy. We were able to do laundry, prepare meals in a well appointed kitchen, and enjoy eating them outside, where there are three patio areas to choose from. All of the outdoor spaces have beautiful gardens and planters which are well maintained. We enjoyed our cocktails and appetizers each night on the roof top terrace. For an extra fee you can request air conditioning, which is a must in the summer, and was refreshing after touring each day. There is a full grocery store within walking distance. Communication with the owner's assistants who manage the rental was superb. There were no hitches. The light metro line to Venezia Plaza is a short walk, but you do have to leave time to "commute" to the center of Rome. That is the only downside of this location for tourists, but the price of this rental was much more affordable than staying closer to the sites. However, Uber was another option that we sometimes used and was about $16 for a car for four. Overall I loved this spot and would stay there again.
