Positive: Didn't have any breakfast but the location of the hotel is in a great spot.
Negative: I didn't like that the hotel charged me an extra $80 for valet parking when I actually self parked for $50. Upon looking at my account I realized what happened and called to get the situation rectified.

Positive: The Marriott has a modern and inviting look. The rooms were very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Plenty of places to sit and people watch or to meet up with friends. It was easy access to Riverwalk, and River Center. An easy walk to the Alamodome.

Positive: Staff was friendly and quick. Rooms were clean and tidy as expected. Enjoyed central location on riverwalk
Negative: When visiting the restaurant for breakfast I asked if I could add a waffle to my breakfast tacos ala carte but was told this could not be done without purchasing an entire entree or switching or adding the $30 buffet menu to my order. I would have happily paid for a waffle by itself but couldn’t justify spending $30 just to add one to my order since it couldn’t be added to my plate for a more a reasonable amount. Not a big deal. Just confusing that something as simple as that couldn’t be done without the trouble involved.
