Positive: on street parking outside was busy but we always found a space nearby - just a short walk to the beach and past the tennis courts where dogs are allowed in summer months so that was really good, welcome pack on arrival with wine crisps biscuits tea towel oven cloth dishwasher tabs small washing up liquid and couple bin bags - all facilities we could need at the house and plenty of space - I took the used bedding off ready before we left and the pillows duvet mattresses and towels were all clean and pristine
Negative: Its a big house and was a bit chilly on the last night but no instructions on how to boost / adjust heating in the welcome pack There were no cleaning products I could find, the toilets bowls were stained and needed a good clean - next time I would take some flash/ zoflora or similar for spraying kitchen, bathrooms etc There is a camera in the back garden, assume it’s monitored by owners for security purposes -didn’t see a camera on the front of the house - it would be nice to mention the cctv monitoring in the welcome pack - people less likely to feel spied on if they are informed and understand the reasons behind it There is a padlock on the back gate and no key, and so if there was a fire and it wasn’t possible to exit at the front, there is no way of exit at the back- might be worth looking into this as part of the property risk assessment

Positive: Lovely House with everything we needed. Nice Welcome pack for when you arrive , Very Clean and Modern. Beds very Comfortable and bed Linen very good quality. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seaside House it felt like a home from Home. I have already been looking to book again for later in the year. We will definitely be back.

Positive: Location was fantastic for us - shops and bus stop nearby, beach easily walkable, parking free and quite easy. The house itself is a good layout and there are 2 lounges and 3 toilets. The area was surprisingly quiet, especially considering how close it is to the centre of things. Overall we really liked the place, but...
Negative: The place was a bit grubby and shabby (porch, kitchen, bathrooms, dirt and cobwebs, paint peeling or chipped). The key safe was a bit hard for us to open even once we had set the correct code - there's a tricky button you have to hold down and it hurt our fingers - might just be us! Beds were not the most comfortable we've slept in - a bit lumpy. A couple of things to be aware of - the stairs are quite steep (we are in sixties and seventies, two of us with slight mobility issues. They would be fine for anyone 100% fit). Could do with providing a tea towel and an oven glove - we went and bought our own. There was no tea, coffee etc when we arrived but there was a shop nearby.
Summary: Would definitely stay again but it could be 5* if it were cleaned up a bit and facilities improved.

Positive: Excellent location, comfortable sofas, large enough for all of us, great middle games room with wii set up. Really good would stay again great holiday.
Negative: Bed was springy uncomfortable, front garden a mess Back garden a mess not inviting to sit out at all. The landing - there is a step down to the toilet ,my mother had a bad fall in the night as the step and carpet on the lower part are all the same color hard to see Evan though had the light on , dangerous and would hope no one else has the same fate.
