Nestled in the branches of an ancient Moonah tree, this second level light filled apartment is private, spacious and comfortable. Expansive views from the large deck and floor to ceiling living room and bedroom windows, you can follow the ebb and flow of the tides or walk the 100 metres to the beach. Treetops is Perfect for summer holidays or a cosy winter break. Once you nestle into Treetops you'll never want to leave.
Treetops incorporates modern architectural design with a beach house atmosphere. Windows and awnings are designed to capture the sun in winter and deflect it in summer; louvre windows in all rooms allow for cool breezes with solar hot water and gas heating.
Treetops is deliberately ‘low tech’ - books, DVDs and games are provided to help you leave the stresses of the city behind! Lots of space to stretch out, to rest and relax as you need. Bicycles are provided if you need more activity, and so many beautiful beach and bush walks within easy proximity.
Separate bedroom, dining, lounge/library and bathroom, with open plan living . 2 large and comfortable couches, polished floorboards and woollen Turkish rug. Enjoy our collection of original artworks - paintings, drawings, lithographs and photographs. Sleek, modern bathroom with spa jet bath and 'rainforest' shower ensures maximum rest and recreation.
Relax with an amazing library, a 55 inch LED flat screen TV with sound bar and DVD player as well as a wide selection of DVDs. A telescope for star gazing and Sealy posturepedic Queen bed for blissfully restful days and evenings. Quality pure cotton linen in the bedroom and bathroom. Woollen blankets in addition to the woollen doona for cosy winter sleeping.
A well equipped kitchenette with fridge, microwave oven and hotplate, an electric frypan, a kettle and toaster. Full dining table, glassware, cutlery and crockery make meal times for you a pleasure when you are not dining out in the many local cafes and restaurants.
Treetops is centrally located, metres to everything Barwon village and beaches have to offer. Situated amidst a natural native garden which a multitude of birds visit daily. 3 minutes walk to Hitchcock Avenue and Bridge Road coffee shops and restaurants. 2 minutes to the Ozone jetty beach for swimming, sailing and fishing. 10 minutes walk to the picturesque bluff, rock pools and surf beach. A pleasant walk across the bridge to Ocean Grove beaches and cafes. You won't need your car.

Summary: We had a pleasant stay at this property, and Nene was very flexible with our late check out. We had some ants who insisted on joining us in the bathroom, but the place was clean and tidy and plenty to discover in the bookshelves! Between the bath, easy access to the river, and close proximity to shops made it a fantastic stay overall. Thank you so much for having us!

Summary: We've stayed in this type of accommodation on four continents, and Nene's place is up there with the best of them. The facilities, and location are excellent, and I suspect her library is the best in town, and brimming with many surprises, if you take the time to look; perfect for when Victorian weather is living up to its reputation!
