There is NO WIFI and cellular reception is not that great, but that is what makes our place so special.
If you are looking for a "tech-free" getaway we are the place for you!
Driving to the secluded cabin you must drive down a gravel road and through a pasture (all on our private property). Most small cars seem to have no trouble, but we wanted to let you know in advance what to expect.
On the main level are the kitchen, dining and living rooms (with a pull-out couch), master bath, and bedroom. A compact washer/dryer is located on the main level as well. Upstairs is the second bedroom with 2 bunks and a bathroom (full-size stand-up shower). Deer Run is built to comfortably sleep 6 people and can accommodate 8 maximum (for an additional fee) if the sleeper sofa is used. Outdoor seating is available on both the front and back porches. All linens and cookware are provided. Deer Run has central heat/air and satellite TV in the living room and master bedroom. All you need to bring are the groceries, a swimsuit, and your fishing pole!
Any additional activities must be scheduled PRIOR to your visit.

Summary: The place was beautiful, peaceful and do well appointed. We will be back. Our prayers will be going up that God will continue to bless Amy, Jesse and Stillwater Refuge. We highly recommend this is the place to go to disconnect from the daily routine and reconnect to God and family. If there was ten stars we would rate this best of the very best!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at the cabin so much! It was very clean and comfortable. We fished right off the dock just outside of the cabin. We caught 56 fish while we were there mostly large mouth bass and blue gill perch. We went out on the boat and fished some as well. It was very hot but a little rain shower cooled us off. There is super cool rope swing and sandy beach area, we didn’t swim though. The owners were very nice people and helpful. We will be going back!

Summary: Our family spent our third summer in a row here, and it was nothing short of magical! We have four kids ranging from ages 11 to 17, and everyone ejoyed thier time as usual! Zero cell phone service and God's beauty lead to amazing family time! From fishing, kyaking, rope swings, bonfires, and board games, its a place you can never forget, and can't wait to get back to! Our little piece of heaven will always be our favorite family trip!
