Three covered porches include a spa, grill, and porch swing. An elderly neighbor does walk the property for exercise as has been his routine for 25 years but is very respectful of guests and maintains guests’ privacy. Only only cell service provider available at the house is AT&T.

Summary: The property is secluded and very comfortable. You just sit out on the front Stone porch and enjoy the beautiful view of the valley in front of you in the mountains and listen to the stream.. we felt like we were at our grandma’s house so comfortable and very spacious.

Summary: A beautiful place! Second time staying there for hiking Via ferrata and Seneca Rocks. Owners of the house are extremely nice and accommodating. Will be back likely next year.

Summary: This property is huge! Also is at the end of a long shared driveway! We weren’t sure how many guests we were going to have staying so we booked this place thinking we would have enough room. It ended up only being 4 people staying there but was perfect! Lots of beds and space. There are limited properties in this part of WV but would definitely stay there again if ever in the area! Nicole was very responsive and communicative through the booking and arrival processes.

Summary: We had a blast staying hereThere is so much nature and things to doOn a rainy day we took the kids the next town over to the discovery museum , and we saw several caves and waterfalls. Not to mention the creek running down the mountain on the property. On our last day there was an amazing lighting storm over the mountains. I recommend this place for anyone who wants a quiet relaxing vacation.

Summary: Property was exactly as I envisioned, older home updated to provide all you need for a comfortable stay. Hot tub works! Remote area, but within access to Seneca Rocks, Spruce Knob, Monterey and Highland County. House and adjacent property is a birder's paradise, walking the trail through the woods and the driveway itself provides many different birds. I saw a Scarlet Tanager, Turkeys, Vireos, Warblers, etc. Also saw a box turtle (rare sighting these days!). Absolutely no noise or light pollution at night. Heard a barred owl and coyotes.

Summary: Thank you for allowing us to stay at your vacation home. It was a wonderful base during the Highland County Maple Festival. We plan on coming back in a few years and hope to stay here again. We appreciate that the house was dog friendly and all the amenities.
