Summary: I lodged here for 4 days during the Christmas holiday. I wanted to be near my grandchildren, so I planed this Christmas away from home. My mom, hubby and the family packed up and headed to Tallahassee. This was the perfect home away from home. I was able to cook dinner and invite family and friends over. We had a blast. The house was well kept and bedrooms were very comfortable. Thank you to Sheila, the owner for the ease of renting the property. Christmas was so much more that I expected. Will definitely lodge here again.

Summary: The property without a doubt lives up to the expectation of luxurious. It was grand in size compared to hotels and other vacation rentals in Tallahassee. This made entertaining our family and classmates wonderful. We were impressed with how beautiful and immaculately clean it was. Not to mention, the neighborhood was peaceful and serene just far enough from the busy college crowd but close enough to take part in the homecomming festivities. We will certainly be returning for another pleasant stay!

Summary: I had an amazing time in Tallahassee, and staying here was just the icing on the cake. My family and I came just to spend time with my son who is attending school there. It couldn't come home for the summer due to classes he had to take so we brought the family to him. All I have got to say is that this place really felt like home. The yard is huge! A great placying space for my younger children. Inside, everything you could ever need to feel at home was there. I just couldn't see myself renting a hotel room when we visit Tallahassee again after this. It was just too comfortable and a much better way for my family and I to bond with my son who has been away from us finishing up his degree. The setting made it even harder to part ways with him. We didn't want to leave! The owner, Sheila, was very nice and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone traveling to Tallahassee. Just amazing. Thank you!

Summary: Sheila was very helpful in pointing us in the direction of a home for our sized family at our budget level, prompt with great pictures, and followed up with phone calls to make sure we received the information. She was always honest and not pushy. I would recommend trying her places:)

Summary: Rented recently. Had a great time visiting Tallahassee for Homecoming and was nicely surprised when we arrived at the house. The inside was nice and spacious, the yard was huge and overall the place had a secluded vibe. I would definitely stay there again. The only issue we had was a minor issue with one of the bathrooms and one of the electrical outlets. Aside from that, everything else was as advertised.

Summary: Our Family stay here was comfortable. Being able to cook for my family is always something that makes a weekend together much more special. The place was large. We were able to BBQ outside and spend time on the porch. The owner was great and she was very attentive to us. The house needed some attention which the owner responded that she is working on it.

Summary: I had never opted to rent out a home during my vacation stays anywhere. The only option I have ever considered, for that matter, was a hotel room at the very minimum - 4 stars. This time, however, a hotel room was not going to be able to accommodate myself, my husband, my children, my two nieces and nephews. I would need at the very least two rooms or a nice sized suite to accommodate all of us nicely. That did exist in Tallahassee, however, the prices were beyond out of my range for this trip each night. A friend of mine recommended this owner and I must say that I was highly impressed by her concern to accommodate me and my family. The price she offered was fair considering the rates that I received by the few options there was in Tallahassee. In addition, the property manager was there timely to let us in and was very kind when assisting us. He notified us that he was only a few minutes away, and even though we never needed his assistance, it was nice to know that he could get to us quickly should a problem had arise. The house was gorgeous! It is an older model house but it is extremely well kept. The inside is almost like a playhouse; there were so many rooms, or at least the design of the house made it seem like a little maze. We were able to cook, relax, watch cable tv, wash clothes and the kids were able to play outside as they would normally at home. Not to mention, it is in a secluded location with a huge, huge yard to die for! The only thing that they did not offer was a pool but everything else that it offered surpassed that of a pool. It was the ideal family rental location. We all fell deeply in love with the home and would be sure to return due to the welcoming spirits of the home and the owners.

Summary: We rented this home for a girls weekend during FSU's homecoming. Let me say that we were happy that we did get a home rental, verses doing a hotel, although with the price quoted we would didn't have much savings over a hotel. We did get a spacious place with a kitchen and privacy to do all the things we love to do during our bonding weekends. I rated the place average because the pictures of the outside are a little deceiving. When we arrived to the home we realized it's located in a very private woods like area and at night it's a little scary since there is little lighting on the street. The garbage was in piles on the porch and smelled; we were able to get most of it removed quickly but some was left over the weekend and the covered porch was not clean. The yard was covered in leaves and should've have been kept with a leaf blower before renting it to renters. And the inside is a lot more aged than the pictures reveal. New furniture but the home isn't modern and new. I'm not saying that the place isn't a good rental but we rent homes in many cities that we travel and on a scale of 1 to 5, I would give this rental a 3 for average. I also feel the owner was not very friendly. She let me know how much I would love the home but was very rigid and not accommodating to small requests, like being let in a hour early - especially since the home was empty. I'm sure to her this is her way of handling business but to me the renter it feels like I'm talking to a unfriendly landlord, when I should get the same service I would at a 5 star hotel. Any thing needed during our stay was only a phone call away to the property manager, who was very helpful. The home has a great backyard, and is very large. It would be great for a family rental for a bbq or fish fry, but it the price for my weekend was a little too high.
