In addition to the fireplace with gas logs in the family room, this custom home features another gas log fireplace in the keeping room located off of the kitchen. Custom sound is integrated throughout the home, accessible via the SONOS app. The finished basement features a Dolby surround sound theater system.
This house has enough beds for 10 people and also has comfy couches and high quality (you sleep well and NOT wake up on the floor!) air mattresses to accommodate more guests if need be.
Our cell-phone reception isn't the best.
Guests have used our wifi/internet for wifi calling, and it works great. Guests are free to use the landline phone for local and long distance calls.
Outside on the deck, there is a large Pit Boss wood pellet smoker/grill and a nice sitting area overlooking the massive backyard, woods and back patio/fire pit area. Underneath the deck there is another seating area with porch swing and TV.

Summary: Absolutely beautiful home, inside and out. We had family in town for graduation and commissioning and although not everyone stayed here it was a great place to gather. The backyard and deck area is great; we even used the smoker. The homeowner was very responsive and helpful. If we are ever back in the area we would gladly stay again!

Summary: Generally our group of 10 Adults book rooms at an Athens Hotel for our yearly game. This year we decided to opt for privacy, and a place large enough to enjoy the laughter and loud reminiscing in comfort and without the worry of other guest. It’s difficult to cram 10 adults into a hotel room to visit! This beautiful home allowed us the freedom to take a ride into town for dinner yet grill awesome Steaks for 10 on a Traeger Grill too! Run into Athens for a thrilling game, yet comfortably gather to watch games together in the Family Room. So comfortable that we never ventured far from the Family room and Kitchen! We have to return to experience the Fire pit area, weight room, outdoor TV area and the downstairs family room. Seriously too many amenities to use in 4 days! Host was over the top accommodating. Made sure phones were on Wi-Fi, even able to tell us by phone which button to push on remote to get picture back ! Comfy beds, great kitchen (no issue feeding 10). Everything was wonderful! Only suggestion, practice getting phones on and off Wi-Fi calling prior to arrival as a convenience! Works great once that is done! Many thanks! Hope to visit again!

Summary: This location was a wonderful spot for a large gathering of friends. I had all of my groomsmen stay here with their significant others before my big day, and this property had plenty of room, a great downstairs lounge, and very helpful hosts! There is zero cell reception, so be sure to sign onto the wifi if you are counting on receiving any important messages or calls! It is a bit off of the beaten path but makes for a nice, somewhat isolated getaway!

Summary: Denny welcomed us with a walk-through and conversation. Their home is spacious, well laid-out and easily accommodated our family of 4 couples. The main level master suite was especially nice for my 90 year-old parents, although Dad spent much of his time enjoying the view from the porch. We would recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful place to re-connect with family, friends and nature. Comfortable, convenient and roomy - great getaway spot.
