Landmark Hingham Victorian! Exquisite property located within walking distance to town and commuter rail in beautiful seaside community. Home has been extensively renovated with high end details throughout. You never need to leave the fully fenced backyard with private, heated pool with electric safety cover, gorgeous built in spa, extensive and multi-tiered patios including one with large Solo stove directly off outdoor dining area. Natural gas grill. Beautiful tiered backyard with huge flat play area, Creative Playthings swings and spectacular gardens. 5 bedrooms (1 king, 2 queen, 1 full, 1 double twin), 4 full baths and 2 half baths. Amazing finished walkout "basement" with flatscreen tv and builtins with huge playroom and school room. Full bath on basement level. Completely open concept living with huge kitchen/breakfast/great room combo. 3 remote controlled gas fireplaces including one in the huge (and completely private) master suite. Breakfast room, mudroom, formal and informal dining abound. Wrap around covered porches, breakfast area, mudroom and gym. One of the prettiest houses in Hingham.
Amazing location - walking distance to downtown Hingham (.9 miles), Beach (1.2 miles), Hingham Centre (.2 miles), public library (across street), commuter rail station (1.5 miles) and easy drive to Hingham Ferry to Boston and Logan Airport (12 min drive).

Summary: We very much enjoyed our almost two weeks at this house. The house was clean, well-stocked, spacious and full of toys and things to do with kids. We especially loved the big yard, trampoline and pool. The area is charming and not crowded.

Summary: This house was amazing! We had such a great stay. The outdoor setup is so much fun for adults and for kids and the pool was the perfect temperature all the time. The house is impeccably furnished and perfectly set up for anyone with small children - we felt at home immediately and our kids loved it. We would definitely return for another trip!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this spectacular, historical home! Our children enjoyed the big backyard, trampoline, swing set and of course the amazing pool. The house is beautiful both inside and out. There is a big playroom with a variety of toys for both boys and girls. Laundry is conveniently located upstairs on the same level as the bedrooms. Open floor plan between the kitchen and family room on the main floor, which is ideal for larger families. The backyard is completely private and fenced in. The owners were helpful and left detailed directions for an easy check in and check out. It was the perfect setting for our family of five, and we didn’t want to leave!

Summary: My family had an amazing time in Hingham. The house is beautiful, the property is amazing, and Sean and Virginia were easy to communicate with. This rental property is perfect, especially for families with kids. My three children had the time of their lives swimming in the pool, bouncing on the trampoline, & playing in the basement playroom.

Summary: We have stayed in luxury hotels and homes all over the world and this home truly goes down as one of the best. It is immaculate, extremely well organized and all of the furniture and linens are top of line. The personalized welcome note and fresh flowers were so thoughtful and simply added to the overall appeal of this stunning historic home, heated pool and hot tub. The owners could not have been more lovely to work with and we cannot wait to return!

Summary: Everything about this place is ideal. The property, pool, and house are all beautiful, well maintained, and incredibly comfortable. We would come back in a heartbeat. Great place to spend time as a family, especially with kids given the large playroom, play set/trampoline, and the access to swimming. Highly recommend!

Summary: We stayed for a month to have a place where we could have space and a swimming pool to ourselves in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. Sean and Virginia were terrific hosts - easy to contact and communicate with, flexible in working with our timing needs. They left us some lovely welcome gifts and a thorough list of places that would deliver food while restaurants were closed. The private pool and hot tub were perfect, and the yard was big and had a great mix of shade and sun. It was easy to adjust temperatures in the pool and hot tub. The house was huge and overkill for our needs, but it would work well for a larger group and for families with younger kids. There was plenty of space for everyone in the family to do work/school. Cleaning service came once a week. Now my wife and kids are begging for a pool...
