Positive: We loved the location right on the water, free of boats and easy to walk into the water to snorkel. We loved the layout, the friendly staff, the privacy of each unit, the food, the tranquil ambience and we LOVED Molly the dog.
Negative: We cannot mention one thing about the facility or service. It was very hot and very humid weather for our stay. We adjusted and loved the whole experience.

Positive: The bungalows are very spacious and clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. The property is in a quiet area. It has a really nice garden and beach access with a coral reef just outside for snorkelling. As the property only has 4 rooms, it is quite private which we enjoyed. Perfect for a relaxing holiday! The restaurant is also good.
Negative: Not the resort's fault at all, but note that the resort is a little far from the city center so a car rental is convenient but the access road is in really bad shape (as are most roads in Vanuatu) so it takes a little longer to reach the town than Google maps tells you (especially if you have a small car). Also not a very pleasant drive at night.

Positive: The accommodation was comfortable, the location incredible. Loved the view from the garden dining area, over the beach and water. Peter and Anna were great hosts and their staff very friendly. South Pacific Memories is the only place I would stay when back in Vanuatu. A wonderful, relaxing 3 night stay in a beautiful place.
Summary: Perfect! No need to leave the resort to enjoy the beach and the snorkelling.

Positive: Petter and Anne and all their staff were great hosts. We particularly enjoyed Anne's passion for the reef and her introduction to it during our dives. The meals by Andeas and Kiki were very good, changing every day. It was a great place to start our holiday, far enough away from Port Vila without having to go too crazy far.

Positive: So much love in every detail! From the amazing paintings and quotes on the walls, to the modern and well equipped (huge) bathroom to the comfortable bed. Not to forget your own rooftop terrace with a hammock to watch the stars at night. The lunch and dinner (4 course menue every night, except if closed) from the Italian Chef Andrea are nothing less but delicious! The beautiful location directly at the beach with some amazing snorkeling places, sunbeds for some sunbathing and kayaks definitely help to unwind and enjoy your stay. To round up your amazing day at South Pacific Memories, you will watch the most stunning sunsets on the island and enjoy your cocktail or glass of wine during happy hour. There are also free bikes you can get to explore a little bit the neighbourhood. Honeymoon beach is definitely worth a visit and on days when the Restaurant is closed, you can go to the Three Pigs (by bike) or walk to one of the resorts next door. If you walk a bit further down, you can also catch a bus to Port Vila. Last but definitely not least, I want to mention that all the staff are so lovely and Anne and Petter are just the best hosts! Thank you all for a great 7 night stay!

Positive: Grounds, staff, room, wi-fi, reef and breakfast were all excellent. We used the provided mountain bikes and snorkel gear. Great sunsets. Petter and Anne were kind and gracious hosts (Molly, the dog, gave us our needed pet fix and sat sentinel over our room). We had a great stay - highly recommended.
Negative: This has nothing to do with the property, but the rooster across the street should be eaten :)

Positive: The chef, Andrea, is amazing. Each night we were treated to a 4 course meal... Which felt like being a guest at someone's house. Very personal and delicious. Pizza is out of this world. The staff, all attentive and fabulous. Special mention to Dora, she's a gem. She was absolutely one of the highlights for us. Her care and personal attention...we so appreciated it. Anna and Petter are amazing hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. We snorkeled and kayaked right off the beach. Fantastic.
Negative: Can't think of anything I didn't like.
