3 Bedroom House in Captiva

Experience Captiva Island by staying in a completely updated 3-bedroom direct gulf front condo at the South Seas Island Resort. Our top-floor beach villa has sleeping for up to 8 guests and access to the association amenities, including multiple heated pools, tennis courts, BBQ grills, laundry, and, of course, the world-famous Captiva Island beaches. Completely updated throughout. The main level features two bedrooms and two bathrooms, both with king-sized beds. Upstairs is a bedroom in the loft with two full beds and a full bathroom. Please note that there is no elevator in this building, and it's on the 2nd floor. We're also not part of the resort, meaning that you won't have access to the resort amenities, including the north end pool complex, resort restaurants or eateries, the 9-hole golf course, trolley, or other resort amenities. While you won't have resort access, you won't need it as our association provides access to multiple pools as part of the Beach Villas, tennis courts, BBQ grills, the beach, laundry, and more. There are several wonderful restaurants just outside the gates of the resort, and being at the South End, you can easily get into the Village area of Captiva for shops and dining. You'll also never pay a resort fee, save about 50% compared to resort rates, and choose your exact unit ... such as ours, which is completely renovated. This condo is privately managed and not affiliated with the South Seas Island Resort. Guests do not have access to resort amenities. A paid laundry facility is available on the ground level. The elevators are currently functional; however, as they are mechanical items, we cannot guarantee they will remain operational during your stay. Please note that refunds will not be issued in the event of elevator malfunctions.

Summary: We stayed in this property for 3 nights. It’s on the beach and you can hear the ocean from the screened in porch but the rest leaves a lot to be desired. The area was badly damaged by hurricane Ian and is largely still a construction zone. There is a lot of truck traffic, random wooden scaffolding by the pool and the tennis court was only half usable. The kitchen is not well equipped, a shower was broken and the others neither hot no strong enough, and a smoke alarm hanging from the ceiling on a wire. It’s a nice place to stay for the beach but the apartment itself could use some work.

Summary: Long weekend on captiva was relaxing and lovely. Clean property that was comfortable. Did not bring k cups so had to get those due to the type of coffee maker but the location is great. Rented bikes as well which made the trip so much better

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this south seas condo over Thanksgiving for the second year in a row! It is so nice to be so close to the beach and the space was clean and had plenty of beds and bathrooms.

Summary: We had a beach villa in the seventies and eighties and absolutely loved it, South Seas and Captiva. So sad to see what Ian did but looking forward to coming back in the near future. The beach was beautiful and thoroughly enjoyed by my family.

Summary: This property was perfect for a short weekend trip. Right on the beach, next to a pool, and a short walk from old town Captiva. The kitchen was really well appointed and the screened in porch was especially nice.
