Summary: We came in to stay for a wedding that was happening nearby. We showed up on Friday and the larger part of our family came on Saturday. I was overall happy with our accommodations. The house was plenty big enough for all of us. My husband and I took the downstairs room so we did not use the upstairs until our family came on Saturday. When the rest of our family came, they indicated that a toilet was leaking. I quickly contacted the host. The host told us the people prior to us overfilled the bath tub. Once we wiped up the water, it did not show back up. So we told the host that they probably didn’t need to send anyone. There were a lot of water marks on the ceiling on the first floor, I assume from the previous guest’s issue. One downfall was, we specifically rented this place because of the pool. In the instructions that they left there was no indication on how to get to the pool or use it. We were told by other people that the pool was down the road at the ‘community center’ and that you needed to go get a key to get in. The host didn’t mention that and it also didn’t seem like it was for weekend guests. Additionally, when we went to do dishes there wasn’t any dishwashing liquid, which makes me wonder if any of the dishes had been washed with soap. Another thing my family mentioned was that the coffee pot had coffee grounds in it that were molded over from not being cleaned out. Ultimately, issues were small and resolvable. Nice place to stay!
