Summary: This place is all about location. You are walking distance to not one but 2 beaches just minutes away! The golden rectangle is about a 20 minute walk. You can choose to walk the streets of Carmel and see all the interesting houses, or take the path that runs alongside the beach. The house was well kept and the kitchen well equipped. TV reception was a bit spotty and there is no DVD player as listed. The two bed/two bathroom setup is great. Washer and dryer are also a big plus when staying at the beach. There is a cozy fireplace as well, which is nice on a fall evening. All in all a great stay.

Summary: Wonderful 8 nights at the Cottage. Relaxing and comfortable home environment. Patio sunny in the morning and moon and stars at night. Walk a few blocks to access 2 different Carmel beaches. Nice to walk the neighborhood and appreciate the unique, beautiful architecture of each home. Karen was very easy to communicate with.

Summary: Very spacious cottage with a lovely terrace in the back and fully fenced backyard that allowed us to travel with our dog. Few minutes walk to the beach and 5 minutes drive to great restaurants. The kitchen is very well equipped. We will be returning!

Summary: A remarkable stay. The cottage by the sea was everything as listed…. And more. It was wonderful to be away from the crowds and enjoy the beauty of Carmel. Morning walks were perfect with great views of the ocean and the lovely properties near by. We certainly will visit again.

Summary: The cottage was great. Very close to Carmel Beach Pt and Carmel Beach. Both walking distance. The court yard was wonderful. Sat out there almost everyday. Had a lovely dinner outside one warm clear evening. Beds were very comfortable. Drove to town which is very close. Hope to come again
