Summary: Not one for reviews but I had to leave one for this property. Super quiet and perfect for a romantic getaway as me and my finance stayed here on our anniversary trip. The staff is 10/10 very attentive and kind. From beginning to end was a great place to stay. We will definitely book here again.

Summary: Wonderful tonight weekend stay celebrating a birthday. The hotel is beautiful with a warm and cozy entrance lobby and bar area. Service was impeccable from getting our luggage to offering us a welcome drink to the morning breakfast which was included. We walked approximately 20 to 25 minutes to/from downtown Carmel both nights for dinner.

Summary: If there were ten stars I would happily give them to Villa Mara! It’s a charming, small, beautifully run property. One block from the quiet end of Carmel’s iconic beach, it was the perfect location to spend our 24th anniversary. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and kind. Despite having been to Carmel many, many times, our stay here felt like coming home. We’ll definitely be back.
