The cottage is located in a small community only 7 miles north of Port Sanilac and 20 minute lake front cruise to Lexington. There are two kayaks and a paddle board available for you to tour Lake Huron. Cornhole boards, gas barbecue, and bonfire pit for all your outdoor entertainment. Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay! Stones throw cottage was a wonderful family vacation and if we had the opportunity, we would definitely book here again. The check in process was easy and effortless. The 2 minute walk to the beach was so convenient and perfect for the kids and dogs. The neighborhood is very friendly and inviting. The cottage is just far enough away from everything, we were not over populated with tourists and travelers. We had the beach to ourselves everyday! The house was stocked with everything we needed. WiFi worked great, I was even able to work a little.10/10 highly recommend this gem at Lake Huron!

Summary: I chose this location for my bachelorette trip and I was not disappointed. The house was nicely decorated and had plenty of space to relax and hang about. The location is beautiful and the neighbors are friendly. Our check in was delayed due to issues with the lock, but the host was quick to resolve the issue, and the rest of the trip went off without a hitch. 10/10 recommend this to anyone, whether you are looking for a relaxing weekend getaway, or an extended vacation by the lake!

Summary: Patrick’s place was perfect. Our family of 6 adults had plenty of space. The house was newly remodeled, the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with everything you could need and more. The beach, a very short walk to the corner was private and quiet. The kayaks and bikes were a nice bonus. Patrick answered all our questions quickly. Mother Nature could have given us warmer weather, but everything else was awesome

Summary: We loved stones throw cottage! The house is beautiful and spacious for a family of four. We really enjoyed all of the amenities (bikes, kayaks, outdoor space.. and of course the close beach)! We’d love to return next time we’re in the area!

Summary: Lots of beautiful updates in this cottage. Kitchen and bathroom are gorgeous. Very nice partially covered patio with nice outdoor furniture. The shared beach is very quiet. Our 2 labs loved swimming. Lots of nice grass areas around home for dogs to dry off. Kitchen is very well stocked. Beds comfortable. We enjoyed Blue Water Bar & Grill and Roxanne’s for breakfast.

Summary: We were so pleasantly surprised with this last minute booking. Not only was the house updated and clean, you could tell that the owner placed a lot of thought into the layout; we had no problem fitting our multigenerational family in this space, whether it was hanging out in the bonus room, eating at the kitchen island or hanging out on the patio. Best kept secret: access to Lake Huron just steps away (about 4 houses down) to a private non busy beach. Water was clear and my kids (6 and under) had a blast. Overall 5/5 would stay here again. Just a short drive into Lexington or Port Sanilac and about an hour from Port Huron. A great time was had by all!
