Positive: Got upgraded from dormitory to private room (low season). For the price it’s fair, if you get a private room in the winter, the heater is in the bedside table, I only found it on my last day

Positive: It’s set up in a nice environment. Everything feels cosy here. There’s a creek winding through the property where you’re supposed to be able to spot Platypus (couldn’t myself). The people staying were al so friendly! Receptionist was really nice. They gave me a free upgraded and ended up having a room for myself (guess it’s because it’s not high season, but still!)
Negative: Kitchen at peak hour quite full, still managed to cook. It’s just the standard situation for a backpackers

Negative: The manager was bullying the staff in the common areas which was a very uncomfortable experience - she spent best part of an hour accusing one guy of not cleaning and threatening his job. I'd not go back or recommend this place because it was so unpleasant to listen to

Positive: Very big and clean kitchen. Also multiple common areas. On site parking. Shower facilities good, hot water always available.
Negative: Private rooms were on the smaller side and very basic. Hard to control the temperature in the room - it can get very cold so a radiator is provided but it then can get very hot in the rooms.
