Positive: Near the beach, in the centre of Menton, a renovated studio in a beautiful old building, washing machine and a small kitchen. Uncomplicated communication with the owner.
Negative: A lot of noise from the street, no ventilator or air conditioning.

Positive: A great location! The beach is a stone throw away🏝️🙂 The studio had everything you need for a short stay, and everything you need in the kitchen of you want to cook your meals, supermarkets and coffee shops all within walking distance!
Negative: Located on a busy and noisy road, refuse collection started at 5am!! (Cant be helped tho)

Positive: The location was really good.
Negative: The room was really small, no space to hang clothes except in a cleaning cupboard! The ironing board needs a new cover, the iron needs a clean. The toilet continued to run after flushing, which was irritating. A toaster would have been a useful addition, as would a small night lamp. There was scaffolding on the outside of the building, In fact right next to our window, so the sea view was non existent, we were not informed of this by the owner. It said on the booking we would be met with the keys instead we received an unclear message of how to enter the building with the door code, then the keys were apparently in a key box in the penultimate row, no name or number given, so we assumed it was number 4 in the penultimate row and there were keys in there. Next we were told it was the 4th floor, to the left 2nd door with a spy hole! We eventually had to try most of the doors with a spy hole, hoping no one was in the apartments we were trying! Turns out the apartment was on the right not left, eventually we found the right door, but there is no name or identification on the door at all, all this took us over 45 minutes to get into the apartment. We then had more fun and games trying to get the wifi details, the owner finally sent us a password but not the network, after approx 2 hours, several texts and calls, he finally sent us a picture with all the details and it turns out he had originally sent us the wrong password anyway !! We didn’t sleep well, as it’s on a main road which seems to be favoured by motorbikes, and the sofa bed isn’t very comfortable and the bedding provided not great quality.

Positive: Price was really good, location is great ,a lot of amenities and stuff like iron, stove, umbrella, kitchenware etc..
Negative: Host didn't say about the construction, you will not see the view cause of steel structures on a facade, never saw the host it's just a misterious guy, promised to come to fix the problem with the stove but to no avail. Stove, TV, toilet didn't work properly, it was a leak, stove and TV didn't turn off, a disaster. Siggarette smoke for the whole week, very noisy street don't expect to sleep well. We didn't have proper instructions...it seems like Cedric doesn't care about guests. Sorry to say that cause he was polite on the phone and I understand that the price is pretty law but....
