Beautiful modern apartment with great panoramic sea views; newly renovated with contemporary design. Two bedrooms and comfortable sofa bed, sleeps 2- 6. Two baths, fully equipped kitchen, sunny living / dining room. One large (100m²) private terrace, plus additional balcony. Great views from every room. Shared swimming pool and concierge on the residence, safe on site parking.
The apartment is in the smaller building of the stately residence "Les Miradors" Which includes a lovely park (2 ha.) And swimming pool (18 x 7 m, depth 60-200 cm) with a terrace. It is located above the city Menton, in a quiet, sunny area called "Garvan", 600 m from the sea. Garvan is known for its lovely gardens and parks, Including. Of olive tree park (Le parc du Pian) Directly across the residence So close by is the amazing Jardin botanique exotique de Menton (11,000 m²)
Within walking distance (600 meters) is the seaside (10 min down a walking path), shingle (10min) and sandy beaches (15 min), a larger grocery shop (10 minutes, 600 meters), restaurants and town (15-20min ) - Including the lovely covered market (All which is open every day, Including Sunday !!). The train station "Garvan" is a 14 min walk (1,0 km) or a short bus ride away. There are Several walking pathes leading to the restaurants, beaches, and town. Our favorites include walking through the olive tree plantation / park, or down a path and then along the seaside, or walking though the historical part of Menton. One can of course drive with your car, but there is alot to be said for the more active combination of - for example - walking down to the market, then buying lovely vegatables, fruits, fish, meat, bread and pasteries (or going to a nice restaurant) and then walking back to the apartment. And, after sightseeing in Nice, Italy, Monaco etc - love especially on hot days crowed trafficy - its a real pleasure to return and have a dip in the pool and relax on the terrace.

Summary: This was the second time we stayed in this apartment and we again found the experience truly wonderful. The apartment is wonderful and exactly as described: great location, very well equipped and with spectacular views across the Mediterranean and Menton. The communication with the owner Sofie is excellent. On site, Dolores helped us settle in and she also answered some questions we had during our stay. Menton is a lovely town and there is lots to see and do close by, by foot, bike, train or car. In sum, this apartment is superb and we would gladly come again!

Summary: Lovely clean apartment with beautiful views great space and proximity to old town. Pool was a great extra and walk up and down to town kept us fit. Lovely holiday definitely come again.

Summary: Third stay over New Years will hopefully not be the last for our family.In case need more details on appraisals and appartment - look up my two previous reviews. Lovely far reaching´and undisturbed views + 180 degrees from Italy towards Menton from the different terrasses and rooms - quiet immeuble (not many residents present this time), safe and very well kept garden and pool area (hope to revisit during warmer period soon) ... lovely walks along Garavan ... and this time even up via Super Garavan... so much to enjoy; on top of Mme Lauriers exceptional (and swift) hospitality. Only thing that keeps us from planning a stay in spring or autumn 2024 already is too few days in the year. Thank you Mme Laurier - and Dolores as well - from Maria

Summary: This was our second time staying in the apartment. It's perfectly located with lovely views of Menton. It's a 15 min walk to the town centre, 5-10mins to the beaches and 5 mins to the nearest supermarket. The apartment is in a secure gated location with all the amenities you need for a vacation with children. We highly recommend.

Summary: The apartment is nice, and the photos and description present it accurately, The views from the patios are fantastic. Even during a heatwave, the apartment and patios are comfortable. The pool and the entire building complex, including the vegetation, are well maintained. My family and I spent a nice vacation here.

Summary: We had like last Xmas and New years lovely days in Mme Lauriers belle appartement .... see for details our review from January 2022. The only reason the issue cleanliness is not rated 5 stars this year, is an issue for which the owner had no responsability or knowledge of - which could be and was handled relaitvely easy. All of this to say -- hope to be back again - and if at all possible for a longer stay than six nights. All the best from Bingen & Svensson

Summary: Back from the vacation, we are missing this apartment so much!  Sofie is an amazing host & owner of this lovely apartment! She has a very dedicated staff / Dolores, who not only does the house-keeping for this apartment, but also understands how to go above and beyond in hospitality on behalf of Sofie!  It was very easy and simple to communicate with both. Dolores was very kind to help us with the arrival to the apartment. She gave us a very informative tour of this apartment related to all functions of screens, safety, appliances, trash disposal, etc. Everything was awesome. Very well decorated! Fantastic views of the Italian border, the mountains the sea and the basilica, Menton centre-ville. It could not get better than this!! While we were curious to figure out about the local transportation system, we found an excellent file-folder created by the owner! The amount of effort it must have taken to include all information about every need of the guests! It was an amazing collection of useful information in that file! The furniture was comfortable and very calming with interplay of the colors of the Cote D’Azur! The Blue Mediterranean colors were displayed in décor very beautifully! We loved the garden, we enjoyed the balconies and garden patios, the sun-rise and sunsets from this beautifully located apartment! The building is gated, and very safe. The swimming pool was very clean and grand, although we did not use it. We enjoyed the proximity to the grocery store, although returning uphill was a challenge. But it was all fun as a part of the vacation! The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and comfortable. Clean wooden floors. Kitchen was very well-equipped with all the stuff you need! I love the colorful mugs!  There was also a welcome Rose’ Wine bottle in the fridge. Cheers!! Overall, we had a fabulous vacation! We have lovely memories of this apartment!
