Summary: We enjoyed our 9 day stay at Studio Heitea. It is located in a quiet, gated condominium complex in Puna’aouia next to the highway. The location was excellent, but the area is not walkable - you definitely need a car. The bed was comfortable but there was only a top sheet - no blankets or other covers available. We appreciated both the fan and the air conditioning as it was very humid. The kitchen had everything we needed, except a microwave. The covered balcony was spacious and the view of the ocean was lovely, however, it lacked tranquility due to the noise from the highway below. The pool was a disappointment - dirty, shallow and no deck chairs, or any place to sit. Clearly it is not used in the winter. We drove to the beach every day and swam in the lagoon instead.

Summary: Great view of ocean and neighboring island from private balcony. Property very secure. Short drive to beaches, restaurants, and grocery store. Having a rental car is a necessity. Overall great place for us to stay for 3-4 days after cruise. Would stay there again.
