Nestled in the heart of the Pocono Mountains on a lake, it is less than two hours from Philadelphia, New York City and Harrisburg, making it a quick and easy getaway. There is a Wawa, a CVS pharmacy, a Dunkin donuts, a dollar store, a state store, a supermarket and a beer distributor all within 1 to 2 miles of the house. The beer distributor has pick your own candy out of jars. Pay by weight loved by adults and children.
This exquisite home is a 3200 square foot house with three levels. The ground level is filled with entertainment options; upstairs is a stunning two story great room with a cathedral ceiling, and floor to ceiling stone fireplace. This lovely home has a stocked kitchen with numerous spices, a comfortable living area with a stone faced wood burning fireplace, large windows to enjoy the million dollar view, a private east facing deck that is sunny until late afternoon, direct access to a private fishing lake, a bar area and a large television/game room downstairs.
The ground floor consists of one queen bedroom with TV, a bunk bedroom with TV, a family room with a big screen Smart TV, high speed internet access, and direct outside access through sliding doors. A shower bathroom is on this level, as well as a gas stove and Foosball table. There is a play kitchen and doll house for the little ones along with other toys and games and puzzles.
The main level has the master bedroom which has an in suite Jacuzzi tub and king bed. There is also a half bath on the main level. The main family room features large picture windows, so you can watch the family outside and enjoy the fabulous lake views. This room also offers a DVD player and a 50" SMART TV to keep you entertained when you are not out enjoying all that the area has to offer. Outside of the 4 sliding doors is a 700 square foot private deck with wiring in railing so little kids can’t fall through. There is a gas grill, two picnic tables with benches, several chairs and lounging chairs. Just off the deck is a laundry room that has a new Samsung washer and dryer.
The top floor has 2 bedrooms, and a full tub/shower bathroom. Both bedrooms have a queen bed and sofa bed. A gorgeous walkway connects the two bedrooms and overlooks the main living area. Both rooms have TV"s and ceiling fans.
There is a small beach on the property located by the lake. The house comes with access to 2 single kayaks, two paddle boards, a canoe, a Jon boat, beach toys and some fishing equipment for those summer days. There are bikes for all ages and also a carrier that attaches to the adult bike to take those very little ones for a ride. A basketball hoop is in the lower level driveway with basketball provided. Life jackets and safety equipment are available for use for all ages. A 6 person hot tub is also just outside the lower level doors with towels provided. A custom built hexagonal wooden swing surrounds the fire pit between the house and lake. Firewood is provided. There is a metal bucket on the swing set for beverages of choice. A tree swing hangs from the trees for the kids to enjoy. It is stored in the garage. This home is located in Camelot Forest. The community has another lake with a private swimming beach, volleyball and tennis courts and a small playground area that are available for your use. This area is about a mile away. It’s a 15 minute drive to Big Boulder Ski Resort and a 10 minute drive to Jack Frost Ski Area. Camelback is about a 25 minute drive. Casinos are also available if gambling is your choice. The outlets are about a 30 minute drive away. The house is located 8.5 miles from the indoor water park and Galleria at Split Rock. The largest waterpark Kalahari is a 15 minute drive.
