The house offers a spacious open floor plan, well stocked chef's kitchen, dining for 6+, 2 living areas, wood stove, Smart TV & WiFi. 3 spacious bedrooms include a king master suite, with jetted tub, queen room with brass bed and a double twin room
The owner personally assures the house is spotlessly clean and stocked with everything you need to make Dana Road House your Vermont home away from home.
The entire house has been freshly updated and furnished with care. Enjoy the open floor plan, 2 sunny living areas and a large, fully equipped gourmet kitchen with space for many chefs!
3 bedrooms feature premium bedding for a comfortable night's sleep, designed to accommodate 6 guests. The spacious master suite offers a king bed and en-suite bath with jetted tub. Bedroom 2 has a plush queen size bed and bedroom 3 has 2 twin beds. 2 full baths are sunny and fresh, en-suite master bath features a jetted tub as well as walk in shower. A full laundry room is also provided.
Relax in front of the wood stove in the sun room in cool weather. BBQ and dine on the private patio or soak in you private redwood hot tub. The Chiminea on the patio makes a great gathering spot to enjoy a fire under the starry sky.
Great location! Just 1.7 miles to Woodstock village. We have world class single track mountain bike trails just behind the house. Matt is happy to show you the trails if you like! We're just 20 minutes (14 miles) to Killington ski resort and convenient other central Vermont skiing. Snowmobile access to Vermont's VAST trail is 1/4 mile from the house.

Surrounded by fields and forests, your closest neighbors will be our 2 horses.
Set on 10 private acres, the owner's home is also on the property down your private drive. Hike, bike, ski, go for a run or just relax on the patio. Your children will enjoy the big yard and tree swing. We just put in a horse-shoe pit this fall, fun for all!

Summary: My family and I had the best time at Kat's property in Woodstock. It provided a great long weekend escape with easy access to Woodstock, Killington, hiking trails, and Hanover. The house was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with games, sporting equipment, and cookware so that we could spend time as a family. Highlights were a pre-work skin up Ramshead and saying hello to the horse next door. We will definitely be coming back in the future.

Summary: Very clean & spacious for our family of four plus our son’s friend. The 15 yr old boys enjoyed playing ping pong in the basement & we all loved the vintage hot tub after a day on the slopes. Perfect location to ski Killington, Pico, & Okemo. The house offered all the amenities as if we were in our own home. We also loved seeing the horse from the kitchen window.

Summary: This house was perfect in every way. The hosts, Kat and Matt, make sure that everything you could possibly need is available to guests. The house is exactly as described on line, is close to downtown Woodstock, skiing and hiking trails. We loved coming back to the house to enjoy the outdoor soaking tub and the wood burning stove. And of course, enjoying an apple with the host's horse was an added bonus. We definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a get away to the Woodstock area. Thanks Kat and Matt!

Summary: We stayed here during Thanksgiving week. What a gorgeous, warm, delightful house! Impeccably decorated, old-fashioned style, yet bathrooms and kitchen were beautifully upgraded for convenience. The location was private and totally quiet Kat and Matt were excellent hosts! Fantastic communication. We got a few inches of snow and they kept it perfectly warm and the driveway and roads were plowed bright and early! We couldn’t have asked for a better stay for our family holiday. Thank you. <3

Summary: The Dana Rd House met all expectations and more. The rural setting was beautiful. We were able to enjoy the activities of the town and return to the relaxing environment of the house. Loved the sunroom, all the amenities, and especially feeding carrots to Nakita the horse. Sad to leave. Hope to return again

Summary: We had the best stay! The house is about 1/2 hour from Dartmouth and was the perfect spot to enjoy the week of graduation festivities while having a true home base. The hosts are amazing. Everything was really lovely.

Summary: This property was perfect for myself and my daughter (22) and twin boys (15). Super cozy with plenty of throw blankets and pillows and the kitchen was better equipped than my kitchen at home. We loved being greeted by the “neigh-bor” Nakita every morning and had so much fun feeding her carrots. The setting was gorgeous and convenient to groceries and the town. There were plenty of games, puzzles and books for rainy days. We even found umbrellas to use! Kat has really thought of everything. Bedrooms and bathrooms were large and the beds were very comfy. The only slight disappointment was that I thought we’d be able to walk/bike to town. While I guess that’s technically possible, the house is on a pretty steep hill and the road is dark and narrow. But the drive was super easy and the town had plenty of parking, even on the weekend. I would absolutely recommend this house to couples, families or friend groups!!
