Summary: If you are arriving in Lausanne by train, the hotel is conveniently located between a couple of stops on metro line 2. I chose a double room rather than a single and therefore had a significantly larger room for very little additional money. The air conditioning didn't work and the fridge didn't keep anything cold. I asked the front desk if these problems could be fixed and the very nice lady at the front desk called the management who said the answer was "no". Apparently, management thinks a/c is unnecessary in Lausanne in September so it is switched off throughout the hotel and the fridge is an ex-minibar and isn't supposed to keep things cold. Other than that, the hotel was fine. It's near a big coop, which I found convenient.

Summary: A very nice room, equipped with everything a guest needs: kettle with coffee sachets, fridge with glasses and a big jar, iron and even ironing board. Beautifully decorated and comfortable. On our arrival they gave us a small chocolate! (The reception desk is a part of a kitchen 😳). Overall, a pleasant stay.
