Summary: Great stay when you're planning to hike between Tsumago and Magome. Also just a great place to stay in general if you want to relax. We enjoyed a traditional japanese room. It's most suitable if you're a back sleeper. If you're a side sleeper, the mat might be

Summary: We stayed here due to limited hotel options and were not looking for a spa experience, so can't comment on that. The buffet food was OK and the rooms were clean. Fun with ping pong tables and massage chairs.

Summary: An unexpectedly good hotel. Clean. Lovely onsen - at night was special. The food was incredible. So much choice. Massage chairs and table tennis a bonus.

Summary: It is a big hotel with lounge, fireplace and a large reception waiting area. Staff were friendly and onsens good! The buffet breakfast and dinner were great; with local selection as well as western. If you like to drink, there are beers, sake and wine too.

Summary: Room was great, traditional Japanese style, roomy and new. Lots of amenities, free beer, ice cream and drinks for after bath, free massage chairs and between 9:30 and midnight, free duck soba.

Summary: If you’re looking for a 24 hour a day spa experience with beautiful mountain scenery, this is for you. My only suggestion would be to make arrangements with the hotel to catch one of their shuttles prior to arriving.
