Summary: After reading reviews we were leery of booking here. Check in was quick and easy. Clerk was friendly Carpet needs replaced in building. Room was clean, bed comfy and bathroom had been painted and new fixtures. Price was great. You dont have to sign up for the Tesla rooms. Ask for remodeled room

Summary: Was exactly what I needed, just being honest town for a race. This is definitely a, "don't judge a book.." as the external condition of the building is a bit run down. The lobby, hallway to the room, and room itself were nicely furnished and finished.

Summary: We're so happy we found the Tesla MedBed Center/hotel in East Dubuque. It was a wonderful stay! We hadn't heard of this hotel before, but I accidentally stumbled upon it on Expedia. We were looking for a place to stay last minute, and we didn't want to spend an incredible amount of money. I called the hotel to make sure we could stay there in just a "regular" hotel room, without the biohealing/energy treatment. The lady who answered the phone was so kind and thorough as she explained about their place and how it offered two kinds of stays: energy rooms and just plain rooms. The cost of the room was so very reasonable, and it included a free breakfast. My husband is picky about cleanliness, and our room was probably the cleanest hotel room we've ever stayed in! It was modern, clean, comfortable, and quiet. We loved the new bed and modern bedding - very comfy! I read reviews about the water possible looking rusty, but we never saw a hint of it. The bathroom accommodations were excellent! The woman, who was on site when we arrived (and when we left), was very genuine and truly cared that we were happy with our stay. She was very detailed in explaining all the hotel accommodations, including how to enter/exit after hours and when to access the free breakfast. She asked us repeatedly if we had any questions and told us she wanted to be sure we enjoyed our stay. The customer service here, from start to finish, shows much professionalism and much care. I truly recommend this place!

Summary: Quirky hotel. Room was clean and comfortable with microwave and mini fridge. Breakfast was minimal. Staff was friendly. Location is great for Dubuque and okay for Galena. Oddly, we were told that the facility was full but there were never many cars in the lot First floor rooms are apparently reserved for those getting the therapeutic benefits of some sort of energy device!?

Summary: Everything in the room was very clean and the temperature was very comfortable when we arrived. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that the towels that we had to use were a bit rough..not very soft. Otherwise our stay was quiet and comfortable.
