Positive: We loved our stay at The Hen House. The cottage is full of character & has everything you need for a comfortable stay.The location is perfect for exploring the Vale of Glamorgan. We loved being able to walk down to the beach. Very peaceful location. We will definitely return!

Positive: Well equipped and quirky in a nice way as split over 3 floors and the kitchen and dining room on the top floor with sloping ceilings. Really quiet and peaceful, but within walking distance of a great pub and the beach. The only thing to note is that the beach below the property is closed to dogs in the summer months but there are still excellent walks along the cliff paths and within easy reach of other beaches.

Summary: Wonderful mini-break - a return is on the cards!

Positive: Everything was very nice. House was lovely. The property is magical, we loved walking the desert and climbing amoung the boulders. A coyote wondered throughthe yard, no doubt checking on the bunnies and birds that were thriving there. We loved watching the desert sunrises from bed or the well kept hot tub.

Negative: We are tall and the furniture and bed are short, so not the most comfortable for us. The coffee maker needed to be descaleed but there was two drip options so no big deal. Absolutely non issues.

Summary: Like desert dessert.
