3 Bedroom Condo in Seven Mile Beach, Grand Cayman

Situated on the famous Seven Mile Beach; unit # 2 Tamarind Bay, is a spacious 3 bedroom, fully equipped, air conditioned condo.
The master bedroom has king size bed and has a full ensuite bathroom, the 2nd bedroom also has a king-size bed, the 3rd bedroom has twin beds. the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms share the family bathroom.
The condo has an open floor plan with the living area opening out to the screened ocean view lanai, for lounging, coffee, cocktails and entertaining. The living area has comfortable seating and an HDTV with cable, and there is high speed Wi-Fi throughout the condo. The screened sun lounge has a door out to the private pool and access to seven mile beach.
A fully equipped kitchen and dining room. Plus washer drier facilities in the condo, and a safe for your valuables. An allocated Parking space is also provided.
Conveniently located near to supermarkets, bars restaurants and shops, and public beach facilities.
Fantastic SCUBA diving, and snorkelling. A visit to Cayman isn't complete without a visit to Stingray City.
Most Tour operators will pick you up at the condo to take you to Stingray City or Scuba Diving.
Tamarind Bay is a beautifully maintained quiet complex, with well looked after gardens. The beautiful pool area has plenty of chairs and gazebos to get some shade and relax. And other beach locations are never far away. As most of the units are privately owned there is always a quiet and peaceful atmosphere.
The kitchen is fully equipped but if you would like an outdoor BBQ there are facilities for this around the complex and pool area. There is housekeeping twice a week as standard but you can arrange more frequently if required.
Our condo is also on the bus route for easy access to downtown George Town or Hell and the Turtle Farm in West Bay. The closest supermarket is about a 15-minute walk or 3 minutes on the bus.
Andy’s hire care service is just across the road from Tamarind Bay, which is situated just next door to Coconut Joes, highly recommended for breakfast and other meals and drinks.
You are about a 10-minute cab ride from the Owen Roberts International airport. You can easily get around by walking, taking the public bus or renting a car for part or all of your stay, to be able to explore all of what Grand Cayman has to offer.
unfortunately poor weather over the last few years has affected the beach, hurricane Ian at the end of 2022, also caused damage at the southern end of seven mile beach, this is affecting many properties at this end of seven mile, not just Tamarind bay. Much of the time at the moment the beach area isn't suitable for chairs, some of the time it is also difficult to walk on. however this is intermittent and sometimes we do have enough of a usable beach. it is worth noting that there are many lovely beaches on Grand Cayman, each with their own character, and even when we have had a large useable beach area, many people choose to explore the other beaches, so this limitation hasn't proven to be a problem., there is also the wonderful pool area.

Summary: When you stay at Tamarind Bay you stay in the heart of the action with a sense of calm. The complex is kept up very well and the staff including the groundskeeping crew is very welcoming! It’s not the fanciest place on seven mile beach but it is perfect! We have four kids and they loved it!

Summary: My family just spent a week at Tamarind Bay #2 and had a blast. We drove around the entire island and all agreed we had picked the perfect VRBO. The location is right on 7 mile beach which is where you will find the best water and sand. Every night we took advantage of the grills by the pool and ate dinner while watching the spectacular sunsets. There was some significant beach erosion at Tamarind Bay, but we were told of this prior to our visit. It really was a non-issue as there were sandbags in place which made it easy to get in the ocean. My 81 year old mother was able to get it easily so no real issues there. The owner gave us a gift card to Camana Bay to make up for the lack of a beach which was much appreciated and generous. The condo also had three bedrooms and two baths which easily accommodated my entire family comfortably. The on-site manager, Kathy, was also very friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to go back to Grand Cayman and will absolutely try and stay at this VRBO again!

Summary: The condo, pool, and grounds were very nice and staff was helpful and friendly. Management was quickly responsive to any issue. Of course the water was beautiful and snorkeling was good for the kids. However, we were greatly disappointed in the lack of beachfront and being notified of it only a few hours before our flight. The kids were looking forward to playing in the sand so imagine their sadness to find mostly rocks. We were given a gift card to compensate.

Summary: The house was spacious and clean. It needs some updating and there were some cobwebs and the hall bathroom shower curtain had a strong mildew smell. Also, the beach has been ENTIRELY washed away. The pool area is quite nice but I do like to lay out on the beach.
