3 Bedroom House in Corry Heights, Pensacola

This charming peach colored cottage is cozy and very functional 3BR, 2BA. Sleeps up to six people, with a maximum of 5 adults. If there are over 4 guests there is an additional rental charge of $10 per person per night for the 5th or 6th guest. All children are counted as guests. The master bedroom has a king size bed, walk-in closet and master bath has large rain shower with jets and granite vanity. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and the third bedroom has a bunk bed with twin on top and full size mattress on bottom. top bunk suitable for child only.
The Master and 2nd bedrooms have smart TV's and there is a 55' TV in the living room. All TV's are newer Smart HDTVs. Good WIFI speed for working or streaming
The 'step saver' kitchen has newer appliances and granite counter tops. There is a gas range and a dishwasher. It is small but very functional and fully equipped for your home cooked meals.
There is also a full-size front loader washer/dryer in the laundry room.
The covered front porch is inviting plus there is a large back patio that has a covered and lighted Pergola, patio furniture and a charcoal BBQ grill. The huge backyard has a wooden privacy fence and there are several fruit and majestic old oak trees for shade.
The long driveway holds four or even five vehicles. The detached garage is for our personal storage not for guests use.
We have a rescue cat, Hot Rod, called Rod for short, that lives outside at the property. He has been neutered and had all shots. We ask guests to assist us feeding him, otherwise we will come by daily before dark to feed him if needed. We will park on street and walk down driveway not to disturb any guests. We tried several times to relocate Rod to a 10 acre property we have about 3 miles away where we live, but he would run away back to The Peachy Cottage. It is a miracle he made it back without getting run over the 4 times we tried to relocate him. So, we have resigned to let him live there in the yard, his prefered home. He enjoys hanging out and meeting new people.
The neighborhood is quiet and conveniently located but is a bit sketchy as to how some homes are maintained. We lived there for a year while doing the remodeling and have been very comfortable. Outside, there are 3 security cameras.
Great location, close to everything Pensacola has to offer. Both Pensacola Beach to the east and Perdido Key Beach to the west are about 20 minutes away. It is about 10 minutes to historic downtown Pensacola, 20 minutes to Pensacola Airport. Very close to shopping, dining and both NAS, Naval Air Station Pensacola, and Corry Station. a Walmart is less than 2 miles up the street.
We can waive the 12.5% state and county taxes to active duty military who have orders for Pensacola duty. You must provide a copy of your orders. This savings on taxes is not for a vacation purpose but for orders to relocate or duty for training, etc.

Summary: The house is absolutely adorable. Margaret has outdone herself with this property. It has everything you could possible need. The Shower in the master bedroom was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will definitely stay again. We also liked Rod the cat, and his buddies that kept us company out back. The house is conveniently located near NAS, Corry Station, the beautiful beaches and Foley, AL.

Summary: This cottage was homey and the perfect place to enjoy a Thanksgiving Day with our sailor in school at Corry Station. The outdoor patio space was nice for enjoying the backyard and pretty weather. My husband was delighted with the mattress on the bed in the primary bedroom. He is super picky and typically doesn’t sleep well away from home. He said best sleep away from home!

Summary: We had planned for a group of 3 but had two added adults (do to holiday stir up) but the house has so much space and is just perfect for everyone. The owners have so many little things available for you that you might even have forgotten (like beach towels, coolers and chairs... you name it they have paid attention over the years and have done it for you)... Highly recommend this place.
