Summary: Despite the bad reviews, this was the only property that would fit our group so we booked it … on a different site. 3 weeks before Thanksgiving, our reservation was cancelled. We were stressed because we had a large group traveling to Columbia. However, we were in luck! We found a house on VRBO that was big enough, but priced significantly higher. It was THE SAME HOUSE. With no options, we booked it again. On the positive side - It was clean and we all had a place to sleep. The listing notes that the house sleeps 16. If you have 16 guests sleeping, you may have 16 guests eating. Too bad there were only 8 plates and 6 wine glasses. I suppose we could eat and drink in shifts. The final insult came when large packages started arriving on the doorstep - arcade games, rugs, etc. The host reached out, not with an apology but with a request that we carry the large packages inside and store them “out of the way.” When your living space is as small as this decidedly un-castle property, there is no “out of the way” so for the last half of our reservation we walked around large boxes stuck in the corner. I guess all’s well that ends well but I won’t be booking this property again.

Summary: Beautiful spacious home. Provided more than enough space as we prepped for our Wedding.Good central location easily accessible to the highway and Mall.Truly enjoyed our stay. Hostess was gracious understanding and responsive. Recommend without Hesitation!!
