Positive: The staff were so helpful and polite,even when the place was full of carnivallers they coped amazingly. We had a couple of small hiccups that were dealt with quickly and efficiently,they staff couldn't do enough for us. The rooms were clean and bright,bedding and towels were spotless. The dogs were made very welcome. The food was amazing,breakfast was great.
Negative: The only slight down point was the hotel wasn't easily accessible,lots of stairs to rooms/toilets and garden.My mum struggles with walking up/down stairs so wasn't ideal for her.

Positive: staff were excellent, very kind and professional. Breakfast was very good. Can't beat the location and the history of the building.
Negative: Our room was a little small and only a little fan during the hot weather which made it a very hot room even with the window open.

Negative: Unlucky with one main course - pork chop was inedible (butcher issue possibly) - no apology, no reduction on bill.
