Apartment EXKLUSIV is the perfect apartment for guests who want to spend their vacation in an exclusive location in Berlin - a few minutes from Kurfürstendamm - and who prefer a quiet retreat in a stylish atmosphere after a turbulent day in the city.
The apartment was completely renovated in November 2017 according to the most modern criteria. It is in a prime location in the middle of City West in a green, park-like courtyard in the immediate vicinity of Kurfürstendamm (5 minutes on foot). It guarantees the best infrastructure and still idyllic living in the middle of the city. The underground stations U7 Konstanzer Straße / Adenauer Platz are approx. 300/450 meters away from the apartment and can be reached on foot in approx. 3/5 minutes.
If you arrive by car, you can rent our underground parking space for a fee of € 9 per day. You will also find limited parking spaces in the street in front of the gate to the apartment and in all surrounding streets. The apartment is very central. How to get z. B. 3.1 km to the Messedamm / ZOB, 2.4 km to the Memorial Church, 2.9 km to the Zoo and 2.9 km to the KaDeWe,
The 60 sqm apartment has 2 rooms, kitchen, bathroom and balcony and is located on the 2nd Floor. Blinds allow darkening in the sleeping areas.
In the bedroom there is a double bed (new: 180 x 200 cm) with a 7-zone luxury mattress (suitable for people with dust allergies). The "First Class" down duvets and down pillows are a high-quality natural product with the seals "allergy-friendly" and "skin-friendly". In addition, the bedroom has a large, spacious wardrobe, a cozy seating area with 2 leather armchairs and a side table, a small desk corner and a 2nd Flat screen TV available.
Living room and dining room are equipped with modern furniture and a large flat screen TV. The corner couch can be used with an ottoman and a separate topper to provide additional sleeping space for the 3rd and 4th Be prepared.
From both the bedroom and the living room you can reach the covered terrace with a view of the green courtyard.
A new kitchenette has been installed in the kitchen. An oven with ceramic hob, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge with freezer compartment are integrated in this kitchenette. There are also 2 coffee machines, water and egg cookers, toasters, mini-ovens, microwaves as well as high-quality dishes and WMF pots, cutlery and knives. There is also a dining counter with 2 bar stools that invite you to a leisurely breakfast.
The bathroom is very high quality with V&B vanity, mirror and toilet. A modern, walk-in shower with a design rain shower and a separate hand shower offers great shower comfort. The bathroom also has a condensation dryer.
Of course, comfortable slippers are available to our guests.
WiFi, towels, kitchen towels, hair dryer and bed linen are included.
Final cleaning € 75.
Upon arrival, a registration form with name, address and passport number must be completed.

Summary: Great area to reside in. Shopping and restaurants nearby. Three blocks to major shopping street and public transportation on Kurfürstendamm. Comfortable apartment. The only real criticism we had is lack of an elevator. It’s on the third floor. When you come home tired from walking all over Berlin, you have to trudge up two flights of stairs.

Summary: The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It had everything you could need. It’s a short journey on the subway into the centre of Berlin. I would happily stay here again.

Summary: Though we were running late for check in, our experience was exceptional. Waltraud is a great host with a fine apartment. It was hot in Berlin and the first nite was rough but the windows open t/o the apartment letting in a great cross breeze. I stayed the night one night with my sister and her spouse as other place we rented was too hot. This apt had everything amenity wise. Top notch in decor and comfort. 1 bedroom with second bed in living room. Bath & kitchen had many amenities offered. In conversations with host any issue was resolved. Would definitely stay here again. Only downside was it was a bit further (30 min walk) to Ubon (subway) but relatively close to restaurant & grocery store. Thank you for a great place in Berlin.

Summary: We enjoyed our time at the apt esp the balcony overlooking the garden and all the birdsong. The location was near many nice breakfast spots and we had dinner our first night around the corner, too. Loved the proximity to the subway. However, for travelers coming from the USA on an overnight flight, heed my tale. I did not think through the arrival time and how we would deal with our luggage. The owners kindly allowed us to drop bags off at 10:30am, despite check-in not being permitted until 3pm. Taxi dropped us off around 7am Sunday and there was no where to leave luggage in the building until housekeeper let us in at 10:30am. Thus, we were walking around the neighborhood with luggage looking for an open coffee shop where we could relax on a Sunday am. Eventually we found an outdoor seating area at Einstein Kaffe, a few blocks away. Be smarter than me with your logistics. Also, the instructions for everything in the binder were in German and unfortunately I do not speak it so could not figure out the best places to dine nearby. Luckily the owners were quick to respond to my questions via text.

Summary: If you’re interested in quiet and don’t mind being a short train ride away from tourist areas this is your place. Everything you need is provided except shower supplies like shampoo and body wash/soap. Plenty of restaurants in the area. You need reservations at most because no guarantee that you’ll walk in and have a table available. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Summary: My wife and I were there for six nights, and although there were occasional issues that came up (e.g. dryer wasn't working properly), the owners always tried to ensure we had whatever we needed. It's in a nice neighbourhood and a short walk from transit to anywhere in Berlin. All in all, a great stay!

Summary: Lovely accommodations. Kitchen was equipped with anything you could need. Apartment very clean, well maintained and modernly upgraded. Definitely not in City Center but U-bahn and S-bahn within a 10 minute walk. Our stay was a week and no complaints from us. Neighborhood is quiet and clean. Did not see a lot of restaurants nearby but the host has a book with directions and flyers for restaurants as well as other points of interest and best way to travel to them.

Summary: Check in was simple and effective (Thanks to Tom) The place was so spotlessly clean. They thought of everything you could ever want or need in a home away from home. Location was great, only a short walk to the subway. Clear instructions for getting around were provided. Plenty of food options close by, restaurants and supermarkets. Bedding was comfortable, room temperature was perfect and the bathroom had everything! The kitchen had enough appliances and utensils to host a dinner party. Although a little further out from the centre of town, public transport was always available and well-priced. Parking was also available at a very cheap price considering the normal city prices. This place is highly recommended, I will definitely look to stay again, should I travel to Berlin in the future.

Summary: We had a very warm and comfortable week (in December) in the apartment. It is very well equipped, beds are very comfortable and had everything we needed for our trip. Wifi was good - I had a glitch at the beginning as I couldn't connect, but we think that was the ISP provider not the network in the flat as a little later I had no problem at all connecting my wife's phone. It's in a good but quiet location - easy to get into the centre and to the sites. Waltraud was excellent - gave us lots of information - and even sent us specific details of U-Bahn and S-Bahn connections linked to our flight arrival! So all went well. We would recommend the apartment.
