Positive: An amazing villa, well equipped and the staff couldn't have been more helpful.
Negative: The method for payment was very tricky for us because they did not accept card - only bank transfer. We could not make a bank transfer without telephone access and we only had internet. So we needed to involve a third party from home to make the payment. Otherwise everything was perfect.
Summary: Amazing holiday destination. Fantastic.

Positive: The villa was on the beach and had spectacular views of the stunning blue ocean. The pool was lovely and felt private. The staff were amazing. Muhammad, Chiku, Ayka, Timoth and Chef Combo were great and did a fantastic job looking after us and our needs. If you want advice on tours or places to visit, Muhammad can give you advice or even arrange taxis or tours. He was super helpful. The property had all the kitchen equipment you may need should you want to cook yourself, a fridge freezer, washing machine, a dining table inside and outside. We ate outside on the veranda every evening which was lovely, listening to the waves and watching the day turn to darkness. Breakfast was included in the stay but we did use Chef Combo for some of our evening meals, which were delicious. Other times we literally went next door to a small restaurant, Bianco Azzuro for our meals where the food and drinks were very nice with great service.
Negative: The property was lovely, clean and felt like home. There isn’t a TV but wasn’t a problem for us as we played games as a family which was much more enjoyable in the evenings. The property didn’t have an iron, which would’ve been handy as some of our clothes were creased in the suitcase but not a huge problem. Also the top bedroom could’ve had thicker curtains as the sun rises on that side and is quite bright. But again just down to preference, it’s not a problem as my son slept well even with the brightness.
Summary: Amazing and an unforgettable stay with beach and ocean views. Can’t wait to visit again!

Negative: The supermarkets are not close and since it’s a self catering facility, I wish they had told us in advance so we would arrange accordingly to get groceries and food. The informal stalls near by didn’t accept cards so getting food was a bit of a challenge

Positive: I can honestly say that I liked everything about Villa Thamani. We spent 3 nights with young kids, and the villa provided everything we needed. The staff are exceptional at what they do and Muhammed provided 5* hospitality. This guy is amazing at what he does. Breakfast was great and also served to perfection by Chimku. Our security always onsite and very respectful and friendly. The owners of Villa Thamani should be very proud of their staff and the service they provide. This Villa was fully equipped with everything you need, and I mean everything. I would highly recommend this Villa while staying in Pwani Mchangani. We will most definitely be back. Thank you so much 😁

Positive: We are visiting Zanzibar for the third time since we adore the island and its people. We discovered "our place" in Zanzibar at Villa Thamani: a stunning setting of European standards that is enmeshed in a Zanzibar village rather than cut off from the actual local reality. This gave this amazing island a "new face" that we were able to see and experience. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, which is uncommon in Zanzibar, and the villa itself is amazing. "Nakupenda Villa Thamani" means "I love you Villa Thamani in Swahili" We hope to see you soon.

Positive: A wonderful holiday! It was me, my partner and a couple of friends in November. We were used to going to the village but this time we changed our mind and decided to rent Villa Thamani only because we have been following the villa on Instagram for a long time and every post made us come want to be there. Everything was exactly as we saw it on video. Location, cleanliness, breakfast at the top. Very spacious villa, tastefully furnished, huge and comfortable rooms, large and comfortable mattresses. Another pleasant surprise was the kitchen, which despite finding us in Africa, we didn't expect to find it so clean and equipped with everything. The wonderful staff: always present, day and night, we became friends and we still write to each other today. Thanks to the local managers who were present every day and helped us with everything. We will miss you! Villa Thamani highly recommended to everyone.
