Positive: A great place to relax, good snorkelling and we hiked to the village nearby and everyone was very welcoming. As two vegans we were well feed. You can pay by bank transfer but cash is easier
Negative: There can be spiders/bugs in your room or toilet, we didn’t mind just an FYI

Positive: Stayed in the new rooms. Really clean, nice to have own bathrooms, shower gel, towels etc. no air con but it wasnt needed, as good high ceiling and plenty of windows with mosquito mesh over. Lovely beach with great reef not much of a swim to get to ( 50 metres) Lovely to have tea and coffee available when wanted. Staff very friendly.
Negative: Meals varied. Some were delicious, though the okra wasnt very popular. Some were larger meals, one had no rice or other carbs so hungry teenagers needed more. Some more fresh fish would be nice. One paddle board needs a repair. And new fins for them would help.

Positive: It was a homestay but the accomodation was all separate bedrooms (some with shared bathroom) except for the dormitory of 6 beds. They are expanding due to the quick success of the business and it is definitely justified. The reef is easily accessed and is extensive. The day trips, including swimming with mantas, are varied and reasonably priced. I loved staying here and I will be back next year to enjoy the new dining room!!
Negative: Nothing but remember it is a homestay not a resort.
Summary: One of the best homestays!!

Positive: Super friendly family which makes you feel really welcome. Very chill place and most beautifull beach and reef in front of beach so far. They arranged diving for us (with Barefoot Mantaray resort). Very affordable activities and arranged private transport to our next resort. Lots of food!!!
Negative: Nothing, just know that this is a Homestay. Facilities and food is more basic as in a resort, but you get a more genuine experience!

Positive: Friendly and welcoming family, including the kids playing games with our kids, great exposure to Fijian culture, including singing and food, excellent snorkelling just out from the beach (better snorkelling than the other resorts we went to). There were no mosquitos when we stayed which was nice too.
Negative: We were there in the heat of summer so without aircon it was a little difficult to sleep with just a fan but there was no expectation for aircon. Facilities were basic as expected but there is always fresh drinking water available in the dining room and we never wanted for anything.
Summary: Great stay and the best value for money by far.

Positive: The food was so authentic and everything was given with so much love. The reef just of the beach was superb.
Summary: It was like being on 'Survivor'! The family are beautiful. This was an experience of a life time.
