Positive: The location was amazing and exactly what we were looking for. Having a kitchen and being able to make our own meals was great for our group. Both of these things were the deciding factor in booking this property.
Negative: The "cleaning" staff is sub par at best. The doors that separated the rooms were very dusty, wings from whatever bugs invaded the closet were covering the inside of the dresser drawers and the floors left bare feet dirty from the 1st day. All beds are very firm, but one bed was like sleeping on plywood. 2 bathrooms were great, but hot or warm water only lasted for a shower and a half. The listing says a grill is available but when we went to use it the grates were all rusting and deteriorated. The porch has a support beam that was rotted through so we could not use part of the table in the porch due to safety You cannot see it in the photo, but if you stepped on it, that section of the floor would give and go down. Also a fan in one bedroom did not work and the owners reply was to just let the doors between the rooms open for airflow. We also needed to use the air mattress that was provided for one person in our group, but the mattress had a slow leak. For the cost of this location weekly, you'd expect a well maintained property, which it is not.

Positive: Amazing location, house was clean and well equipped. Easy communication with hosts.
Negative: Extreme road noise especially at night making it very hard to sleep in the front room. One of the bedrooms had a terrible mattress. No privacy between rooms but not an issue for our family.

Positive: The bungalows best feature is the location . Walk everywhere to beaches, snorkelling spots , food trucks and Foodland . Has a beach shack feel with lots of aloha. Great for families.
Negative: As mentioned in other reviews the futon really needs updating to a mattress in the third bedroom. On its last legs and not comfortable for adults
Summary: Fabulously located in Pūpūkea and great for families . May be a little small for 6 adults

Positive: Good location to a great part of the island.
Negative: Pay attention to the word bungalow - it is very small. Difficult to find and get in to. It’s off a very busy road with a very short driveway with a gate that didn’t work 90% of the time.

Positive: GREAT location. Walking distance to some of the best beaches on the North Shore of Oahu (Three Tables, Waimea Bay, Shark's Cove). Grocery store and large food truck collection also within walking distance. Kitchen small but is well stocked with utensils. No real dining area inside but nice table on the porch and Bar stool seats in Kitchen area. Air conditioners and fans help keep the unit comfy. Management very responsive to issues (e.g. maintenance issues that might come up) during the stay. Front bedroom gets a little street noise, but very tolerable especially since we were tired from activities! Back bedrooms quiet.
Negative: Mattresses could be upgraded.
Summary: Great location for beaches and north shore activities. Comfy cottage.
